Can prostatitis be cured after ten years?

Because prostatitis is so common in life, people don't pay much attention to it. At the beginning, there is just a little urethral pain or a feeling of difficulty urinating. But as the disease worsens, urination becomes difficult, and you may even have to go to the toilet frequently and get up frequently at night. Prostatitis that has lasted for ten years can be cured.

treatment

1. Symptom treatment

Patients with acute bacterial prostatitis should be given systemic supportive therapy, including fluid supplementation, diuresis, fever and pain relief, bowel lubrication, hot water sitz bath, etc. If there is acute urinary retention, suprapubic bladder puncture should be performed to aspirate urine; if longer drainage is required, instrumental catheterization or transurethral catheterization should be avoided as much as possible to prevent complications such as urethritis and epididymitis.

2. Antibiotic treatment

Patela, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Sinverin (quinolones, macrolides, and cephalosporins)

3. Chronic bacterial prostatitis (CP)

A small number of patients are acutely transformed, but the vast majority of patients have never gone through the acute stage. The bacterial infection route is the same as that of acute bacterial prostatitis, mainly related to the hematogenous spread of infected lesions in other parts of the body, direct spread of urinary tract infection and prostate stones. Prostate stones are often accompanied by chronic inflammation and are one of its important sources of infection.

Excessive drinking, excessive sexual life, perineal injury, chronic constipation, etc. can all cause non-bacterial congestion in the prostate, creating a good environment for bacterial invasion and reproduction. Lower urinary tract obstruction and poor urine flow are also one of the inducing factors.

Comparison of prostatitis treatments

At present, most patients with chronic prostatitis in the world are not satisfied with the treatment effect. There are many treatment methods for chronic prostatitis, which is a special phenomenon not found in other diseases. Commonly used methods include antibiotic treatment, physical therapy, a-receptor tissue retardation, repeated prostate massage, muscle relaxants, botanical Chinese medicine, etc. Traditional treatment methods: Because there is a tough capsule on the surface of the prostate, especially when the root of the disease has formed a blockage or calcification focus, the blood circulation is very poor. General oral or intravenous injection drugs including Western medicine, antibiotics, botanical Chinese medicine preparations, etc. cannot penetrate the lipid membrane and barrier, the root of the disease cannot be eliminated, and the pathogens in the root of the disease will recur repeatedly, resulting in long-term treatment.

Systemic antibiotic treatment: Systemic antibiotic treatment has a certain therapeutic effect on patients with early prostatitis who have not formed blockage; for patients who have formed blockage and calcification, the drug cannot enter the prostate and will not be effective. Moreover, long-term use of the drug will cause drug resistance, damage the liver, kidney, gastrointestinal function, etc., and cause dysbiosis, increasing the chance of endogenous infection.

Old-style intraprostatic injection method: The old-style intraprostatic injection method has a certain effect on some patients with stubborn prostatitis, but it has high technical requirements, cumbersome operation, painful feelings for patients and can easily cause damage to the prostate. At the same time, it has no effect on inflammation of the seminal vesicles, vas deferens, epididymis and other parts.
