The prostate is known as the male engine and is the power station for male physiological functions. Any man who wants a strong physiological function cannot do without the role of the prostate. Therefore, it is very important to protect the prostate, and proper prostate massage in life can effectively promote prostate health. Let's take a look at whether prostate massage is pleasant and what precautions should be taken? Prostate massage is a treatment for prostatitis, when the prostate ducts and alveoli are blocked by live or dead bacteria and their products and tissue reactions, creating an environment that is very similar to a micro-abscess. Theoretically, prostate massage can relieve the obstruction of these glandular ducts, achieve normal drainage, and make it easier for antibiotics to penetrate. Therefore, it is recommended to massage the prostate 1-2 times a week to help the drainage of prostate fluid. Generally, after massage, the patient feels comfortable, and the local discomfort and swelling are reduced. However, if the symptoms worsen or there is a fever after massage, the massage should be suspended and antibacterial drugs should be added for treatment.Note: (1) It is related to the massage method: If the fingers are inserted too deeply during massage and massage the seminal vesicle, the semen will be mixed with the prostatic fluid and drip out together, causing the prostatic fluid to contain some cell components in the seminal vesicle and cannot accurately reflect the white blood cell count in the prostatic fluid. (2) It is related to the force used during massage: If you use too much force during massage, it can cause prostate damage and significantly increase the number of cells in the prostate fluid, especially the number of red blood cells. If you use too little force during massage, most of the prostate fluid cannot be squeezed out, resulting in a relative decrease in the number of cells in the prostate fluid.(3) Related to the nature of the lesion: In the congestive stage of acute prostatitis, the prostatic ducts and interstitial cells are only congested and edematous, so the number of cells in the prostatic fluid is relatively small. In the vesicular stage, more micro-abscesses are formed, and in the solid stage, the small abscesses gradually increase in size, and the number of white blood cells in the prostatic fluid increases significantly. In chronic prostatitis, due to fibrosis of the prostate, the tubules are blocked by pus or epithelial cells, and the number of white blood cells in the prostatic fluid may be normal. (4) Chronic prostatitis often presents with focal changes. During rectal examination, irregularities in the prostate surface are often found, as well as localized nodules and localized tender areas. Therefore, any one massage cannot reflect the condition of the entire prostate. |
