When these gas-producing bacteria cause a urinary tract infection, substances such as glucose in the urine can ferment, resulting in foamy urine.

Urethritis also has the following common symptoms: frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, and discomfort during urination. Patients with acute inflammation often have obvious signs of urinary tract irritation, but in patients with chronic urinary tract infection, the symptoms of urinary tract irritation are usually mild, such as mild frequent urination, urgent urination, or discomfort during urination.

Too long without sex

Couples who have been separated for a long time and have stopped having sex for too long; those who are frequently sexually excited will have foam in the urine due to increased mucus secretion from the bulbourethral glands and increased tension on the urine surface.

When urinating urgently, the urination pressure increases, the urination rate increases, the tension on the urine surface increases, and more bubbles may be seen.

If there is semen in the urethra of men, foamy urine may occur, such as retrograde ejaculation (common in patients with diabetes and autonomic nervous system dysfunction); frequent sexual excitement increases the secretion of mucus by the bulbourethral glands, and after spermatorrhea.

Urine concentration

In cases of drinking too little water, sweating too much, diarrhea, etc., the body's lack of water causes the urine to become concentrated, resulting in higher concentrations of protein and other components in the urine, which can easily lead to increased foam in the urine.

Diabetes

When men suffer from diabetes, the content of glucose or ketone bodies in the urine increases, the pH of the urine changes, and the surface tension of the urine increases. When they have liver and kidney diseases, the content of bilirubin or protein in the urine increases, the surface tension of the urine increases, and more bubbles are produced during urination. When there are gas-producing bacteria in the urinary tract, bubbles can be produced in the urine.
