Small lumps have no effect on hardening, but large lumps can prevent the penis from hardening, causing the penis to bend. In the middle and late stages, a single or several string-like lumps may be felt on the glans penis, with a diameter of about 3 cm, and the smallest one with a diameter of 0.2 cm. There is slight pain, and the location is often near the root of the center line of the bone, and very few may be located in the distal or lateral position. When the lump is small, no bend is visible when it is erect. When the lump is large, the penis bends significantly when it is erect.
