Testicular color ultrasound can check the shape of the testicles and the blood flow of the testicles. Testicular color ultrasound is a combination of B-ultrasound and Doppler blood flow images. Therefore, the size of the testicles can be checked by color ultrasound. At the same time, the echo uniformity of the testicular parenchyma can be observed to determine whether the testicular parenchyma has lesions or tumors. The epididymis and spermatic cord can also be checked at the same time, and color ultrasound can check the blood supply of the testicles. If there is a tumor inside, the tumor can also be checked. Scrotal color Doppler ultrasound examination, generally the main examination items include testicles, epididymis, spermatic cord, vas deferens, etc. If there is swelling and pain in the scrotal area, a routine color Doppler ultrasound examination is generally required. The specific analysis needs to be based on one's own symptoms. If there is discomfort in the scrotal area, an examination is also required. After the disease is identified, targeted treatment can be given.

Mild varicocele without symptoms does not require treatment. Non-surgical treatment: Severe varicocele or neurasthenia can be treated by scrotal support, cold compress, etc.

1. Surgical treatment: For patients with more severe varicocele, sperm count below 20 million for three consecutive times or testicular atrophy; and for patients whose varicose veins disappear when lying down, high ligation of the internal varicocele can be performed.

2. Surgical methods include:

1. High ligation of the internal spermatic vein through the inguinal canal: The incision is the same as that for hernia. The spermatic cord is exposed, the trunk of the internal spermatic vein and its branches are found, and they are ligated. This surgical approach is simple and commonly used. The dilated external spermatic vein and the gubernaculum vein can be ligated at the same time. If a surgical microscope is used during the operation, the effect is better, the recurrence rate is low, and there are fewer complications.

2. Transiliac fossa approach: make an oblique incision in the left lower abdomen, push aside the peritoneum, find the internal spermatic vein behind the peritoneum and in front of the external iliac artery and ligate it. The advantage is that if the internal spermatic artery is accidentally injured here, it will not cause testicular atrophy. The disadvantage is that the communicating branch cannot be treated at the same time. 3. Recently, someone inserted a catheter into the left internal spermatic vein through the inferior vena cava and the left renal vein, and then injected 5% sodium cod liver oil or gelatin sponge and steel ring to embolize this vein to treat varicocele. The disadvantage is that the vein is deformed and has collateral circulation, which is not suitable for embolization, and special equipment is required.

3. Varicosis

Varicortitis usually presents with pain in the groin area, which can radiate to the scrotum and lower abdomen, and can be tender in the groin area. Some cases may be accompanied by thickening of the vas deferens and varicocele. Varicose veins can easily cause hydrocele. Guidance: Color Doppler ultrasound can indicate the presence of thickening of the spermatic vein or vas deferens; the presence of varicocele can be confirmed by finding white blood cells or abscesses in semen.
