Men's stomach pain "secretly" hides seven diseases

Men's stomach pain "secretly" hides seven diseases

Men generally don't pay much attention to health issues, so they ignore common problems such as stomach pain and think it is a minor problem not worth mentioning. This attitude is very bad. There are many dangers of stomach pain:

1. Unbearable

Stomach pain will cause a series of emotional reactions, including nervousness, painful expression, frowning, groaning, crying, restlessness, etc. When the stomach pain reaches a certain level, the patient usually finds it unbearable and may even faint.

2. Nervous disorders

Symptoms include increased sympathetic nervous system activity, faster breathing, faster heartbeat, increased gastrointestinal motility, unpleasant complexion, cold limbs, cold sweats, etc.

3. Enhanced metabolism

Long-term abdominal pain can lead to hyperactivity of endocrine, such as increased secretion of adrenaline, adrenocortical hormone, antidiuretic hormone, insulin, etc. Clinically, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and increased basal metabolic values may occur.

4. Activity Center

Severe and persistent abdominal pain can cause the central nervous system of vascular activity to shift from excitement to high inhibition, resulting in systemic microvascular activity disorders, decreased microvascular tone, microvascular dilation, and continuous large amounts of blood congestion in the microvessels, leading to a decrease in the amount of blood returning to the heart, reduced cardiac output, decreased blood pressure, tissue hypoxia, and ultimately causing painful shock.

What is the disease when a man has stomach pain?

1. Right lower abdominal pain

The first thing to think about is whether you have appendicitis. If you have upper abdominal pain at first, and then it turns to right lower abdominal pain after a few hours, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, etc., it is mostly acute appendicitis.

Problems with the small intestine, cecum, and right ureter should also be considered. If accompanied by frequent urination and hematuria, it is likely to be ureteral stones. Women should also pay attention to whether there are problems with the right ovary and fallopian tube.

2. Right upper abdominal pain

The liver and gallbladder problems should be considered as acute and chronic hepatitis, liver cancer, cholecystitis, gallstones, etc. may cause right upper abdominal pain. Also pay attention to whether there are problems with the pancreas, duodenum, right kidney, right large intestine, etc.

3. Left upper abdominal pain

First of all, we should consider the spleen and stomach problems, and also pay attention to the pancreas, left kidney, and left part of the large intestine. If the pain in the left upper abdomen persists, is accompanied by paroxysmal aggravation, affects both sides of the waist, and is aggravated by eating, it is likely to be acute pancreatitis.

4. Pain in the left lower abdomen

It may be a problem with the lower colon or rectum, such as intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, enteritis, dysentery, intestinal parasitic disease, etc., and the relationship with the left ureter should also be considered.

5. Widespread abdominal pain

It may be caused by many reasons, such as gastric ulcer, appendicitis, cholecystitis, etc., which may cause persistent and severe pain in the entire abdominal cavity.

6. Pain around the navel

Problems with the small intestine and pancreas should be considered primarily.

7. Prostatitis

① Urinary discomfort, bladder irritation symptoms may occur, such as frequent urination, burning and pain in the urethra during urination, and radiation to the glans penis. There may be mucus and other secretions in the urethra in the early morning, and there may also be a feeling of difficulty in urination.

② Bloating and discomfort in the posterior urethra, perineum and anus, which is aggravated by squatting, defecation and sitting on a chair for a long time.

③ The pain of chronic prostatitis is not limited to the urethra and perineum, but also radiates to the vicinity, with lower back pain being the most common. The penis, spermatic cord, testicles and scrotum, lower abdomen, inguinal area (thigh root), thigh, rectum, etc. can all be affected.

The low back pain caused by chronic prostatitis is in the lower back, which is easy to be confused with low back pain due to orthopedic reasons such as myofasciitis and lumbar muscle strain. However, the latter is mostly near the beltline, which is higher than the low back pain caused by prostatitis and can be distinguished.

④ It causes loss of libido, painful ejaculation, premature ejaculation, and affects the quality of semen. White discharge from the urethra may occur after urination or defecation, and hematospermia may occur when combined with seminal vesiculitis.

Male lower abdominal pain is a common clinical phenomenon. Generally speaking, male abdominal pain can be divided into severe pain throughout the abdomen and dull pain with obvious localization. Severe pain in the entire abdomen is also called acute abdomen, which manifests as severe pain, tenderness, rebound tenderness, abdominal wall muscle tension, and even shock. Acute abdomen often means disease.

Men should not think that they can just endure the severe cramps or unexplained persistent pain or warm it up with hot water, but should be alert and go to the hospital for treatment in time. If necessary, they should undergo abdominal B-ultrasound, routine blood tests, blood biochemistry, and CT scans.
