2. Refreshments

3. Seating

In order to comply with the etiquette of seniority, the elder or the chief guest should be arranged to sit on the left side of the tea maker as much as possible. The reason is that in this way, the tea will be poured in order from left to right and finally to the guest. If the guest of honor is not arranged in the right position, the order will be disrupted and the tea will become disordered.

4. Water storage in kettle

If there are many guests who need help with making tea or filling the kettle with water, you can open the kettle lid appropriately to signal when water is needed, and avoid asking for water loudly, which will make the guests feel embarrassed.

5. Place the teapot

When placing the teapot, the spout should not be facing others, otherwise it means that they are asked to leave quickly.

6. Wipe the teapot

Some tea hosts take great care of their teapots. When brewing tea, they will inevitably wipe the teapot, play with it, or even keep multiple teapots together. However, they do not realize that these unnecessary movements have already affected the guests' attention during tea tasting. Similarly, tidying up the tea table and wiping the tables and chairs during tea tasting will also make people think that the host is sending guests away.

7. Pay attention to your clothing

The nature of tea is calm and peaceful, so the etiquette of tea drinking requires neat and elegant clothing. Women should avoid wearing heavy makeup or being daringly exposed, and men should also avoid being weird, such as having long hair or wearing beggar clothes.
