How to check allergens, allergen detection methods

Allergy is a common symptom. People often develop allergic reactions without realizing it because of contact with something. The most direct and effective way to treat allergies is to stay away from the allergens. So how can people know what their allergens are? How should allergens be checked?

1. Allergy test items

1: The inhalation allergen screening test (Phadiatop) is the first step in the detection of atopic allergies. The phadiatop screening reagent contains common allergens in the air such as dust, pollen, fungi, mites, and dandruff. If the patient is allergic to this, the serum contains SigE, and the phadiatop test result will be positive. If the test result is positive, it means that the patient's symptoms are caused by allergic reactions, and specific allergen testing is required to determine the causative allergen; if the test result is negative, it means that the patient's symptoms are not caused by common allergens.

2: The serum total IgE (TigE) test is a quantitative measurement of the total IgE level in human serum or plasma. High levels of circulating total IgE antibodies are often associated with allergic reactions. If the measured value is less than 60 ku/L, it indicates that the patient's symptoms may not be caused by allergic reactions. The combined test of fx5E and Phadiatop can exclude allergic diseases. If the measured value is greater than 60 ku/L, allergic diseases should be highly suspected.

3: Food allergen screening test (fx5E) is a screening test for soybeans, peanuts, milk, eggs, wheat and fish. If the patient is allergic to any of these, the serum contains SigE, and the fx5E test result will be positive. If the test result is positive, it means that the patient's symptoms are caused by allergic reactions. The above foods should be specifically tested to determine the pathogenic allergens, or avoid eating the above foods and foods containing the above food ingredients. If the test result is negative, it means that the patient's symptoms are not caused by the above allergens and the above foods can be eaten with confidence.

4: Specific IgE (SigE) testing is for a specific allergen, such as milk, eggs, fish, house dust mites, chicken, duck feathers, dog hair, pears, peaches, etc. It is generally divided into 7 levels from 0 to 6, with 0 being no allergy, 1 being milder allergy, and 6 being the most severe allergy.

2: How do I know if I have skin allergies?

1: Common symptoms include itching and pain after sweating; rough skin that often peels; frequent breakouts due to stress or fatigue; skin problems as soon as new cosmetics are used; skin inflammation and rashes caused by using cosmetics in the past one or two years; skin becomes red and painful when exposed to ultraviolet rays.

2: Symptoms of using cosmetics for skin care: The skin becomes tight and red after washing your face, which means the keratin defense function is weak; the skin often feels tingling after applying toner, which means the keratin defense function is weak and you are allergic to alcohol; the skin feels itchy and tingling after applying highly moisturizing beauty serum; the sunscreen product is not suitable for you; you feel irritated after massage or applying a facial mask.

3: Physical and environmental factors. People with pollen fever may be allergic to metals and other items; their skin is fragile and prone to eczema; they may be allergic to nylon, rubber, chemical fibers and other substances; and their skin may become unstable when the seasons change. All of the above are manifestations of skin allergies.

3: The above is the inspection of allergens

In addition to staying away from allergens, you should also strengthen your physical fitness and exercise to improve your physique.
