Inflammatory tuberculosis

Severe epididymal tuberculosis can adhere to the scrotal skin and form purulent sinuses.

Effusion

Various types of hydrocele (testicular hydrocele, spermatic hydrocele, communicating hydrocele), vas deferens nodules, etc. can also manifest as scrotal lumps.

Urethra injury

When the urethra is injured, if it is accompanied by hematoma or urine extravasation, it can cause scrotal swelling. In severe cases, it can be accompanied by infection and cause perurethral abscess.

Filarial disease

In case of filariasis, inflammation, hematoma and edema of the scrotum itself can manifest as scrotal masses. Patients with advanced systemic failure may experience scrotal swelling due to reflux infection.
