What are the characteristics of body odor? What should you pay attention to if you have body odor?

Many people are afraid of summer because body odor causes them too much trouble. Since everyone's physique is different, the causes of body odor are also different. So what are the general characteristics of body odor?

Excessive sweating in the armpits:

There are two types of sweat glands in humans. One is small and distributed throughout the body. Its main function is to sweat and regulate body temperature. The other is a larger gland, called the apical serous gland, which is distributed in special areas such as the armpits and genitals, with the largest number in the armpits. The serum secreted by the apical serous gland is originally an odorless liquid, but when the serum is decomposed by bacteria trapped in the armpits, it becomes a smelly liquid, commonly known as "body odor." Patients with excessive sweating in their armpits are prone to bacterial growth, and the smell is particularly strong, causing great trouble in their lives.

Axillary pain:

Generally speaking, pain under the armpits is mostly caused by mental tension, incorrect posture for a long time, local inflammation, breast hyperplasia, ischemic heart disease, etc. It is recommended to go to the internal medicine department of a regular hospital in time to determine the cause through physical examination, blood test, etc., and take targeted measures to avoid delays.

Axillary lumps:

The neck, armpits, and groin (thigh root) are the three major lymph node concentration areas. Axillary lumps in the upper limbs or breasts can cause enlargement of the axillary lymph nodes, which present red, swollen, hot, and painful inflammation symptoms, and may develop purulent infections.

Generally in summer, the odor emitted from the armpits of patients with axillary odor will be more pungent and unpleasant, so at this time, patients with axillary odor should consciously maintain their own hygiene to avoid affecting the emotions of others and their mood for work and study.

In short, no matter how axillary odor develops, we hope that it will not affect our own lives, because axillary odor is not a difficult disease to treat, so as long as axillary odor affects our own lives, we should actively carry out relevant treatments. I hope everyone can get rid of axillary odor as soon as possible.
