1. Orchitis:

Orchitis is usually caused by bacteria and viruses. The testicles themselves rarely have bacterial infections. Bacterial orchitis is mostly caused by inflammation of the adjacent epididymis, so it is also called epididymo-orchitis. Common pathogens are Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli, etc. Viruses can directly invade the testicles, the most common of which is the mumps virus, which mainly invades the parotid glands of children. However, this virus also likes to invade the testicles, so viral orchitis often occurs shortly after the onset of mumps.

2. Contact dermatitis:

A small number of men with allergic constitutions may experience dermatitis reactions such as erythema and papules on the skin in contact with the underwear, which may cause itching, when wearing underwear made of chemical fiber raw materials. Because the clothes are close to the testicular skin and the area is easily soaked by sweat, some men who use condoms may also develop penile contact dermatitis and testicular itching due to rubber allergy. When this happens, the relevant allergenic items should be stopped immediately.

3. Scrotal eczema:

Commonly known as "Hydrangea", the main manifestations are scrotal skin flushing, swelling or exudate desquamation. Due to severe itching, the scrotal skin may thicken and become lichenified after scratching. Patients should avoid drinking alcohol and spicy food, and treatment should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor.

4. Tinea cruris:

Tinea cruris is caused by a fungal infection, also known as a disease caused by fungal infection. It mainly affects the perineum and inner thighs. Some skin damage can also cause itching of the testicular skin, especially at night. The reason for this is that it is clearly caused by fungi, so the treatment generally uses anti-fungal drugs to solve the problem. If you come into contact with fungi, whether it is the patient's skin, clothing, or supplies, you may be infected.
