Do you know what size condom is right for you?

Condoms come in different sizes. When choosing a condom, most men will choose a medium size. After the penis is erect, you can try it on. If it is too loose or too tight, you can change to a more suitable condom. So, what kind of condom is the best and most suitable?

Condoms that are too tight can also lead to contraceptive failure.

Using condoms that are too small or too tight will not only fail to increase pleasure and safety, but may also affect erectile function, rupture, and cause semen to flow into the vagina, leading to pregnancy. If a condom ruptures or falls off during sex, other contraceptive measures should be taken immediately. First, stop having sex immediately, and the woman should squat so that most of the semen can flow out of the vagina. Then, choose any topical contraceptive (such as topical contraceptive film, topical contraceptive tablet, etc.) and insert it deep into the vagina to kill the sperm remaining in the vagina. However, before taking the above measures, some sperm may have entered the uterine cavity, so there is still a possibility of pregnancy. Therefore, the best remedy is to take anti-pregnancy drugs.

At the same time, when buying condoms, most men can directly buy medium size. If they feel it is too tight or too loose after using it once, they can buy other sizes to adjust. For those men who ejaculate quickly and are older, thicker condoms should be used, which is conducive to controlling ejaculation and prolonging the duration of sexual life. Threads and floating points can help enhance stimulation, and can also be purchased selectively according to needs. In addition, you must learn to use condoms correctly, avoid using them too late or removing them too early, use lubricants appropriately, and store condoms correctly.

Choosing the right condom is crucial

There are many types of condoms on the market, including ultra-thin, threaded, scented, etc. The size is marked on the package, which makes me very confused when choosing. Sometimes the condoms I buy from the supermarket are expensive but not comfortable to use. How should I choose among all kinds of condoms?

Michael Reese, a sexual health education scholar at Indiana University, answered: Men often complain that wearing condoms is uncomfortable. In fact, the main reason is that they did not choose the right one. In terms of size, condoms on the Chinese market are available in three sizes: large, medium, and small. Generally, medium size is more common. Men can use a thin thread to wrap around the middle of the penis after full erection, and then measure the length of the thread to get the circumference of the penis, and then divide it by 3.14 to get the penis diameter.

Based on this calculation, you can buy condoms of the right size. In terms of thickness, condoms are mainly available in three types: ultra-thin, thin and regular. For every 0.01 mm decrease in thickness, the comfort level of men will increase by 20%. However, for older men who ejaculate quickly, thicker condoms should be used, which is helpful for controlling ejaculation and prolonging sexual intercourse. In terms of patterns, spirals, floating points, etc. can help enhance stimulation to women, and women can choose to buy them according to their needs.

Although some condoms with fragrances and colors can help increase interest, the additives can easily cause allergies. Pay attention to your body's feelings when using them. If you experience itching, edema, etc., stop using them immediately. In addition, condoms also have a shelf life. When buying, be sure to check it carefully. Once it expires, it will become old and cannot be used.

Teach you how to choose the right condom

Most people may just randomly choose a favorite brand when buying condoms, without paying attention to the size issue. Condoms, like clothes, also have different sizes. A survey on the size and comfort of condoms used by men in daily life found that 21% of men felt that the condoms they used were too tight, 18% felt that they were too short, 10% felt that they were too loose, and 7% felt that they were too long. These are the results of not choosing the right size. Buying condoms is actually a science, and you must first learn to distinguish the sizes of condoms.

Condoms of different brands have size standards, which are divided into 4 types. The nominal width of 55 mm condoms is equivalent to the previously used specification Φ35, i.e. large condoms, corresponding to a 35 mm diameter at the opening of the condom; the nominal width of 52 mm condoms is equivalent to Φ33, i.e. medium condoms, corresponding to a 33 mm diameter at the opening of the condom; the nominal width of 49 mm condoms is equivalent to Φ31, i.e. small condoms, corresponding to a 31 mm diameter at the opening of the condom; the nominal width of 48 mm condoms is equivalent to Φ29, i.e. extra small condoms, corresponding to a 29 mm diameter at the opening of the condom.

The nominal width refers to half of the circumference of the condom opening. People in different regions have different physical characteristics, and the standards for condom sizes are different in the East and the West. Generally speaking, the condom size suitable for Chinese men is medium. If you feel that it is too tight or too loose after using it once, you should use a thin thread to wrap around the middle of the penis after the penis is fully erect. Then, based on the length of the thread, you can get the circumference of the penis, divide it by 2, and then when buying condoms, you can choose condoms of the right size based on this value.

In addition to size, condoms are also graded in thickness, generally divided into three types: ultra-thin, thin, and regular. Most men don't like wearing condoms. Thickness has a certain psychological impact on them. The thinner the condom, the more sexual pleasure they get. The thicker the condom, the more restricted the sensitivity of the male penis during sex, and the worse the sexual pleasure, so most men tend to choose the thinner the better.

However, if a man has the problem of premature ejaculation, it is not suitable to choose ultra-thin condoms. Slightly thicker condoms are more conducive to prolonging the duration of sex and obtaining more adequate sexual pleasure. In addition, it is best to use scented condoms less. In order to reduce people's resistance, many products have made great changes in appearance, color, smell, etc. to increase the attractiveness of condoms. However, the spices added to some scented condoms may cause vaginitis in women. If you need to choose such products, it is best to pay close attention to whether women have abnormal vaginal discharge and other problems.
