I believe that many people are still relatively unfamiliar with multiple bladder tumors, but the incidence of this disease is not low. So what are the symptoms of this disease in the early stages of the disease? 1. Hematuria Hematuria is the most common first symptom of bladder cancer. 85% of patients may experience recurrent painless intermittent macroscopic hematuria. The amount of bleeding may be more or less, and in severe cases there may be blood clots. 100% of patients will experience hematuria sooner or later during the course of bladder cancer. 2. Symptoms of bladder irritation The infiltration of the cancer itself, ulceration of cancerous tissue, necrosis, infection and blood clots can all become stimuli that cause the bladder muscles to contract and produce the urge to urinate; frequent urination, urgency, pain and persistent urge to urinate, persistent lumbar distension and pain, and urinary incontinence when the cancer invades the sphincter. Bladder irritation symptoms are generally a sign of poor prognosis. 3. Difficulty urinating About 7% of cases suffer from urinary difficulties or even urinary retention due to the shedding of cancerous tissue or the tumor itself or blood clots blocking the internal opening of the bladder. 4. Symptoms of upper urinary tract obstruction When cancer invades the ureteral orifice, it causes the renal pelvis and ureteral orifice to dilate and accumulate water, or even become infected, causing varying degrees of backache, back pain, fever, etc. If both sides of the ureteral orifice are invaded, symptoms of acute renal failure may occur. 5. Lower abdominal mass This is the first symptom in about 3% of cases, most of which are adenocarcinoma of the bladder top or solid bladder cancer of high malignancy in other parts. Rectal (or vaginal) digital examination or dissection of uneven lumps can be used to understand the scope and depth of tumor infiltration into the bladder wall, which is helpful for tumor staging estimation. 6. Systemic symptoms Nausea, loss of appetite, fever, weight loss, anemia, weakness, cachexia, leukemoid reaction, etc. 7. Metastatic symptoms The tumor expands to the pelvic cavity, retroperitoneal cavity or rectum, causing low back pain, lower abdominal pain radiating to the perineum or thigh, rectal irritation symptoms, etc. Pelvic lymph node metastasis is common, and metastasis to the uterus, rectum, colon, liver, and kidneys causes corresponding clinical symptoms of each organ. |
