Why do men experience pain and frequent urination?

Men will become very irritable and depressed after experiencing symptoms of frequent and painful urination. Going to the toilet was originally to solve physiological problems, but now it has become a torture and pain. Whenever you feel the urge to urinate, you will develop a fear of urination. What problems or diseases are causing this? After collecting relevant information, the editor found that it can be divided into the following situations:

1. Acute prostatitis. The onset is acute and may be accompanied by symptoms of infection and poisoning. Rectal examination reveals an enlarged prostate with obvious tenderness. According to andrology experts, chronic prostatitis can cause soreness and swelling of the perineum, anal prolapse, suprapubic pain radiating to the groin, sexual dysfunction (such as impotence, premature ejaculation, spermatorrhea, etc.), dizziness, insomnia, fatigue and other systemic symptoms. Physical examination shows that the prostate is firm and has mild tenderness.

2. Prostate hyperplasia. It is more common after adulthood, accompanied by progressive urination difficulties. In severe cases, urine retention may occur. Physical examination shows that the prostate is enlarged, smooth and elastic. Prostate cancer progresses rapidly. Physical examination reveals that the prostate is hard and has an uneven surface.

3. Urethritis. The symptoms of acute urethritis are generally manifested as frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, and more urethral secretions. There will also be burning pain, frequent urination, and urgent urination during urination. In severe cases, urethral spasms may occur. When the urine is examined, pus and red blood cells will be found. Chronic urethritis is mostly caused by the transformation of acute urethritis. Generally, there will be back pain and lower abdominal distension, and the symptoms are not as obvious as acute urethritis, but the urethral secretions are reduced, with only itching. There will be burning pain, frequent urination, and urgent urination during urination, and even difficulty urinating.

The diseases mentioned in the article may cause urination problems in men. At this time, you should be alert to whether you have one of these symptoms. It is best to rule out each of them one by one during the examination, and then take targeted medication for treatment. At the same time, the editor recommends that patients stay relaxed and actively cooperate with doctors for effective treatment.
