Common male genital diseases

Common male genital diseases

When it comes to sexual organ infection, many people feel that it is a patent of women. In fact, it is not. If you do not pay attention to environmental hygiene, men's sexual organs may also be infected. Only the main symptoms are different, and the treatment methods are also different. What are the common symptoms of male reproductive organs? Please see the detailed introduction below.

1. Prostatitis

Chronic prostatitis, in particular, is a common disease in adult men. At a certain stage in the current medical history, this disease will cause symptoms such as impotence, premature ejaculation and neurasthenia, which will undoubtedly affect pregnancy. Seminal vesiculitis is very easy to become chronic after the onset of the disease. It often coexists or occurs successively with chronic prostatitis and chronic epididymitis, and is often the cause of recurrent epididymitis. Whether it is seminal vesiculitis and prostatitis caused by bacteria or viruses, they can inhibit spermatogenesis. In particular, if there are bacteria in the semen, even if there are no symptoms, it can cause spermatolysis, spermatocytotoxicity, reduced sperm life and sperm aggregation. The above-mentioned reasons can cause infertility.

2. Orchitis

It often presents with symptoms of epididymitis. In more severe cases, it will develop into epididymal cystic orchitis. It can also be secondary to systemic diseases such as mumps, syphilis, and tuberculosis. Whether it is primary to the testicles or inflammation from other systems, it will affect the testicles. Orchitis caused by mumps usually occurs on one side. If it occurs on both sides, it may cause infertility due to testicular atrophy. At this time, it can be seen that the spermatogenic epithelial cells are seriously damaged. Therefore, if one side of the testicle is damaged, the reproductive ability is still there. If both sides are damaged, it may lead to oligospermia or azoospermia. Orchitis or epididymitis caused by gonorrhea can cause loss of testicular function in men and partial or complete obstruction of the epididymal cyst.

3. Epididymitis

Especially chronic epididymitis, often coexists or occurs successively with chronic prostatitis and chronic seminal vesiculitis. During the development of inflammatory changes, the epididymal lumen may become narrower and smaller due to scarring, and may even develop into complete blockage of the lumen. If the disease is bilateral, it may lead to infertility.

4. Balanitis and glansitis

It is a common disease. When you are sick, sexual life may become difficult and affect pregnancy. Generally, the history of the disease is short and the recovery period of inflammation has no major impact on pregnancy. However, you should be alert to similar symptoms such as gonorrhea and syphilis that appear in the head of the male genitals.

5. Subsex hormones, epididymal cysts or inflammation of male testicles

Autoimmune infertility can sometimes occur due to damage to the natural blood-testis barrier or changes in the molecular formula of sperm antigens.

In addition, we should pay attention to some reproductive system infections without symptoms, which can sometimes cause the early drop of immature male sperm. It is now known that T-strain (micro-strain) chlamydia infection in the reproductive system is one of the causes of male infertility.
