Why does ejaculation hurt for men?

Ejaculation is an important sign of male orgasm, and it brings great physical and mental pleasure to men. However, in daily life, some men suffer from ejaculation pain (also called sexual intercourse pain) while enjoying the pleasure brought by sex, which casts a shadow on the good sex life and even makes men afraid of sex because of ejaculation pain. The great physical and mental tension, anxiety and fear that ejaculation pain brings to men are unimaginable for ordinary people.

(1) Psychological factors

Negative psychological factors such as tension, anxiety, and depression are common in patients with neurasthenia, emotional instability, and neurosis. Their sexual organs are very sensitive, and sexual activity can cause spasmodic contraction of local muscles, resulting in ejaculation pain.

(2) Abnormal frequency and intensity of sexual intercourse

Men who have sexual intercourse too frequently may experience ejaculation pain due to overwork of their sexual organs without the necessary rest; sexual intercourse is too violent, especially men who have not had sex for a long time and suddenly resume sexual intercourse are particularly prone to rough sexual behavior and induce ejaculation pain; overly dry sexual organs lack lubrication during intercourse and are prone to induce ejaculation pain.

(3) Disease factors

Some urogenital diseases can cause ejaculation pain, mainly including inflammation (prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, balanitis, spermatic cord inflammation, epididymitis, cystourethritis, etc.), stones (ureteral stones, bladder stones, urethral stones, seminal vesicle stones, prostate stones, etc.), genital tumors and other diseases, such as urethral stenosis, penile induration, etc.

Once ejaculation pain occurs, do not be too nervous, anxious or afraid. You should first analyze the degree and duration of pain. Generally, mild and short-term pain is often caused by sexual intercourse or psychological factors. You can make self-adjustments, such as stopping sexual intercourse for a few days, avoiding intense and rough sexual intercourse, controlling the number of sexual intercourse, using lubricants during sexual intercourse, etc. You can also conduct psychological counseling, such as eliminating the patient's nervous and anxious emotions, overcoming adverse mental and psychological factors, which can also significantly relieve or eliminate the symptoms of ejaculation pain. If self-adjustment is ineffective, you should receive a doctor's diagnosis and treatment. If the pain persists for a long time and is severe, there may be an organic disease or the lesion may be more serious. You should seek medical help as soon as possible. After removing the primary disease, most patients can basically restore painless ejaculation.
