Albumin Separation of Sperm

Animal experiments in the late 1970s used albumin to separate sperm, achieving a success rate of 80%. This was mainly due to the difference in the weight of X sperm and Y sperm. However, in human research, the success rate was less than 70%, indicating that the factors of gender selection in the human body seem to be more complicated. In addition to using albumin for separation, the more commonly used reagents such as percoll reagent also have a result of about 60-70%, which has not reached more than 80% as everyone hopes.
