What should I do if there are small bumps on my scrotum that don't hurt or itch?

I believe everyone knows the importance of the scrotum to male friends. If there is a problem with the scrotum of a male friend, it will not only bring discomfort but also bring great psychological pressure to the male friend. Therefore, we recommend that the majority of male friends must pay attention to the health of their scrotum in daily life. Once the scrotum has an abnormality, it should be treated in time. Below we will introduce what to do if there are small bumps on the scrotum that are not painful or itchy.

Scrotal eczema is a stubborn disease that is difficult to cure, so its protection is very necessary. The following points need to be achieved in protection.

The most direct way to improve scrotal eczema: The most important thing is to choose healthy and comfortable underwear, which will be in close contact with the baby all day long.

(1) Underwear should be loose and comfortable, preferably made of pure cotton. Do not wear tight underwear. Change and wash underwear in time, especially after exercise. (2) Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and avoid or eat less fishy and spicy food. (3) If there is scrotal itching, actively treat it. Do not scratch or wash it excessively, especially do not wash it with soapy water.

The disease occurs symmetrically, often affecting the entire scrotum. The affected area is extremely itchy, the course of the disease is long, and it recurs repeatedly. It cannot be cured despite repeated treatment. In the acute stage, there may be papules, small blisters, pustules, erosions, exudation, scabs and other changes. In the chronic stage, it manifests as deepening of the skin grooves, thickening of the skin, and rough leathery skin of the scrotum, which is what people call scrotal eczema. If it is delayed or not treated properly, the acute stage and chronic stage may change mutually, and it may last for many years.

It is worth noting that once the scrotum becomes itchy, exudates, crusts, and hypertrophy, and does not heal after a long period of treatment, it should be considered that this disease is the cause.

Because this disease is not ringworm, it cannot be treated as ringworm. Scratching, rubbing, rubbing, and scalding are the most taboos for this disease. Hot water, soap, salt water, alkaline water, etc. should not be used. It is also not suitable to use iodine, ringworm medicine, garlic and other irritants. As long as it can be guaranteed not to scratch or irritate the skin, many patients can get better quickly. This disease is related to emotions. Keeping a good mood, getting enough rest and having confidence in the victory over the disease are also key links. In terms of diet, it is necessary to avoid spicy foods such as green onions, ginger, and garlic. For drug treatment, cold compress is the main treatment in the acute stage. About 3000 ml of clean water can be used each time without adding any medicine, or 3 grams of alum can be added. Or use 10% phellodendron solution or 30 grams of dandelion and 15 grams of wild chrysanthemum to decoct and apply wet compress after cooling. If combined with infection, add 1 gram of chlorhexidine or 0.1 gram of potassium permanganate and add 3000 ml of clean water. These methods are very effective for scrotal itching and exudation.

Traditional treatments for chronic stage include external application of Qingdai ointment or Pi Ku ointment, and heating and baking therapy is better. Fumigation or Sophora flavescens decoction bath can also be used. Western medicine treatment mainly uses prednisone ointment for external application. Adhere to the medication for at least 1 to 2 months, apply it to the affected area once in the morning and once in the evening, without bandaging. The thinner the better. It is not necessary to remove the previous medication before the next application. Antibacterial ointment can be applied to infected eczema. Tar ointments can be applied to thicker scrotal eczema, such as 5% coal tar ointment, 5% pine oil ointment, 5% soybean oil ointment, etc.

In the above article, we introduced the importance of the scrotum to male friends. We recommend that male friends should protect their scrotum well and seek timely treatment if there is a problem with the scrotum. The above article introduces in detail what to do if there are small bumps on the scrotum that are not painful or itchy.
