Various diseases in our body can be regulated through diet therapy. There are also dietary taboos for diseases. Sometimes food regulation can help the disease recover. Generally, during treatment, doctors will remind patients to avoid eating foods to prevent the disease from worsening. (1) Animal viscera. They contain a lot of cholesterol, which is an important component of the synthesis of sex hormones. In addition, they also contain adrenaline and sex hormones, which can promote the division and maturation of spermatogonia. Therefore, eating animal viscera such as heart, liver, kidney, and intestine in moderation can help increase the level of androgen in the body, increase semen secretion, and improve sexual function.

(2) Foods containing zinc. Zinc is an essential trace element for the human body. It plays an important role in maintaining the normal structure and function of the male reproductive system. Zinc deficiency will reduce the number of sperm, affect sexual desire, and reduce sexual function. Research results in recent years have shown that zinc deficiency is related to what Chinese medicine calls "kidney yang deficiency." The food with the highest zinc content is oyster meat. Other foods such as beef, milk, chicken, chicken liver, egg yolk, shellfish, peanuts, cereals, beans, potatoes, vegetables, and brown sugar all contain a certain amount of zinc.

(3) Foods containing arginine. Arginine is an essential component for sperm formation. Eating foods rich in arginine regularly helps nourish the kidneys and improve sperm quality. Such foods are slimy and slippery, such as eels, catfish, loaches, sea cucumbers, cuttlefish, octopus, silkworm pupae, chicken, frozen tofu, seaweed, peas, etc.

(4) Calcium-containing foods. Calcium ions can stimulate sperm maturation. Foods rich in calcium include shrimp skin, salted eggs, egg yolks, dairy products, soybeans, kelp, sesame paste, etc.
