The best sleeping position for men to protect their private parts

Many people are used to a certain sleeping position. If this sleeping position is inappropriate, then sleeping like this for a lifetime will certainly be harmful to the body. What sleeping position is bad for men's reproductive organs, and which sleeping position is the best for the reproductive system? Let's find out with the public health network.

Nowadays, many people like to sleep on their stomachs, thinking that they can sleep soundly this way.

In fact, this posture will not only compress the internal organs, causing breathing difficulties, but also compress the reproductive system such as the scrotum and penis, affecting blood circulation.

In addition, this posture is not conducive to scrotal heat dissipation and has an adverse effect on sperm production.

Some people say that sleeping on the right side does not compress the heart or the scrotum, so it should be a good sleeping position.

But they overlooked an unexpected condition—testicular torsion. This disease is common in thin teenagers aged 12-18. Theoretically, it is not the testicle itself that is twisted, but the spermatic cord on it that is like a rope, which is twisted and "knotted". Since the blood vessels that supply nutrients to the testicles and transport metabolites pass through it, once the spermatic cord is "knotted", the testicles will be "starved", and if it exceeds 12 hours, it will be ischemic and necrotic. Most patients with testicular torsion develop the disease after intense exercise, but some also develop it when sleeping on their side. This is because when sleeping, the testicles and penis are squeezed between the legs, and the pressure on the reproductive organs is more obvious than when standing. In addition, some people have a bad sleeping posture, their legs will twist back and forth, and the spermatic cord will be "kneaded" into a ball, making accidents more likely to occur.

In summary, lying on your back is indeed the best sleeping position. At the same time, it is best for men to naturally spread their legs to give the scrotum and penis ample room to move. If a man is obese and snores when sleeping on his back, he may lie on his back with his head slightly tilted to one side.
