Many of us modern people suffer from insufficient Yang Qi. So how can we judge whether we have insufficient Yang Qi? In fact, we only need to understand some symptoms of insufficient Yang Qi. When we have one or more symptoms of insufficient Yang Qi, we can judge that we have insufficient Yang Qi. We have ways to treat insufficient Yang Qi. In response to the symptoms of insufficient Yang Qi, we can take some measures to treat the deficiency of Yang Qi. We can use exercise to treat the deficiency of Yang Qi, or we can use diet therapy to treat the deficiency of Yang Qi. The most direct manifestation of insufficient Yang is that the body cannot maintain a constant temperature. Under normal circumstances, it is manifested as a drop in basal body temperature, which slows down the circulation of Qi and blood, reduces the metabolism of body substances and physiological functions, and causes some pathological products (such as phlegm, blood stasis, stones, etc.) and foreign substances (such as wind, cold, dampness, etc.) to be unable to be discharged in time and accumulate and become diseases. If the Yang is slightly insufficient, the body's functions can basically be maintained, but people will have various discomforts such as obesity, cold hands and feet, backaches, etc. If the degree of Yang deficiency worsens, the body's basal body temperature will drop further, and the stasis and blockage phenomenon will be more serious in some existing old diseases, old injuries or congenital defects, causing obvious abnormalities in the physiological functions of these parts. Because the location and degree of blockage are different, the external prominent manifestation is the lesion of a certain part. Cancer is just a more serious blockage. For example, the pulse of patients with hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer all show blockage in the liver, but the blockage gradually deepens. Cancer can be called a "severe cold stagnation syndrome." The fundamental principle of treating the various symptoms of cold stagnation caused by insufficient Yang Qi is to "replenish Yang Qi and expel Yin evil", improve the transportation and transformation functions of the five internal organs, and enhance the body's self-healing ability. When the Yang Qi is sufficient and the six meridians are peaceful, all diseases will naturally be cured and the body's constitution will be fully restored. 80% of modern people have insufficient Yang Qi - all diseases are caused by the loss of Yang Qi, so how can we strengthen Yang Qi? In life, we need to change some of our living habits that hurt Yang Qi. In summer, we often drink iced drinks, use air conditioning, sleep in the rain, and are prone to diseases that hurt Yang Qi, such as colds, diarrhea, and rheumatism. Similarly, if we wear too much clothing in winter, stay in a hot room for a long time, sweat profusely, or eat too much spicy and hot food, we are more likely to suffer from diseases that hurt Yin Qi, such as sore throat, loss of appetite, and abdominal distension. We should eat more warm and nourishing foods, such as beef, mutton, shrimp, loach, and yellow eel. For those with serious yang deficiency, in addition to food supplements, we should also often use Fuyang cups to warm Guanyuan, Guilai, Mingmen, and Shenshu. In the TCM prevention and treatment project jointly conducted by my country and the World Health Organization, experiments have shown that Fuyang cups are effective for yang deficiency. The word "Fu" in "Fuyang" was explained by Ruan Yuan in the Qing Dynasty as "assist", "protect", and "treat", meaning that "Fu" means to help, protect, regulate, and govern. The word "Fuyang" itself has the meaning of promoting, protecting, warming, and regulating yang, thereby promoting and strengthening the yang in the human body. "Purging and unblocking" refers to the stagnation of Yang Qi and the poor circulation, while "warming and tonifying" refers to the deficiency of Yang Qi and the failure to warm and strengthen Yang Qi. There is a difference between the two, but the clinical pathological changes are complicated, and poor circulation and failure to warm and strengthen Yang Qi are often two aspects of Yang Qi pathological changes. Therefore, in treatment, we should pay attention to the mutual connection between the two aspects. Promoting and unblocking Yang Qi and making it run smoothly can promote and exert the functions of Yang Qi, such as relieving the exterior and expelling evil with pungent and warm herbs, promoting Yang Qi, and harmonizing Wei Yang Ying Yin; warming and strengthening Yang Qi can also promote the activity of Yang Qi, such as warming Yang transforming Qi, Qi transforming water, and making Yang Qi run smoothly. Above we introduced what Yang deficiency is. We know that Yang deficiency has a great impact on our body, so we must know how to judge whether we have Yang deficiency. Above we introduced the symptoms of Yang deficiency. Once we have the symptoms of Yang deficiency, we must choose a method that suits us to treat it. |
