Symptoms of sexual dysfunction

Symptoms of sexual dysfunction

There are many symptoms of sexual dysfunction. Generally speaking, sexual dysfunction refers to decreased sexual ability and inability to have a normal erection during sexual intercourse, or weak erection, etc. However, in reality, not everyone is very familiar with the symptoms of sexual dysfunction, which is why many people do not seek timely treatment after having sexual dysfunction. In addition, there are actually many other symptoms of sexual dysfunction.

Sexual dysfunction is very "destructive" to normal adult men. This "destructive power" is not only reflected in their sex life, but more importantly, it is a trauma to their minds. Therefore, many men are quite uneasy for a long time after learning that they suffer from sexual dysfunction. So, let's talk about the symptoms of male sexual dysfunction in detail.

Sexual dysfunction can be generally divided into two categories: functional sexual dysfunction and organic sexual dysfunction. Male sexual dysfunction includes sexual desire disorder, erectile dysfunction, sexual intercourse disorder and ejaculation disorder. Female sexual dysfunction includes sexual desire disorder, sexual arousal disorder, orgasm disorder, sexual intercourse pain, etc.

Symptoms of sexual dysfunction are as follows:

1. Sexual desire disorder

Including sexual aversion, low sexual desire, and hypersexuality.

2. Erectile dysfunction

It is the persistent inability to achieve and maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse.

3. Sexual intercourse disorder

The clinical manifestations of sexual intercourse disorders include sexual syncope, sexual aphasia, sexual hysteria, sexual sudden death, sexual phobia, etc.

4. Ejaculation disorders

Including anejaculation, delayed ejaculation, retrograde ejaculation, weak ejaculation, premature ejaculation and painful ejaculation. Among them, anejaculation refers to the penis being able to erect and have sexual intercourse normally, but unable to ejaculate semen, or being able to ejaculate semen under other circumstances, but not ejaculating in the vagina. Retrograde ejaculation means that the penis can erect and have sexual intercourse, and ejaculate with orgasm, but the semen fails to be ejected from the urethra and flows back into the bladder through the bladder neck.

5. Sexual arousal disorder

Refers to the persistent or recurring inability to obtain and maintain adequate sexual excitement, manifested as a loss of subjective sexual excitement, sexual organs and other parts of the body, including loss of vaginal lubrication, clitoral and labia sensation, and vaginal smooth muscle relaxation.

6. Orgasmic dysfunction

Refers to persistent or recurring difficulty, delay, or absence of orgasm after adequate sexual stimulation and arousal.

7. Pain during sexual intercourse

It includes dyspareunia (repeated or persistent vaginal pain during sexual intercourse), vaginal spasm (repeated or persistent involuntary spasmodic contraction of the smooth muscle of the outer 1/3 of the vagina, interfering with the insertion of the penis), and non-contact dyspareunia (repeated or persistent genital pain caused by non-direct sexual intercourse).

The above symptoms can appear alone or at the same time, which is called mixed sexual dysfunction.

With the above introduction, everyone should have understood some symptoms of sexual dysfunction. Symptoms of sexual dysfunction generally include: sexual desire disorder, erectile dysfunction, sexual intercourse disorder, ejaculation disorder, orgasm disorder, etc. These symptoms of sexual dysfunction are also the more common symptoms in our daily life. So, knowing these symptoms of sexual dysfunction will be helpful for our future treatment of related aspects.
