The most unbearable pain for men

It is often said that men are real men, and it sounds like they are not afraid of anything, even if they get sick, but there are things that men are most afraid of. Experts from Beijing Tongji Hospital remind that men are also afraid of pain, and there are 6 types of pain that need the most attention.

1. Severe back pain

Tongji experts say that if something as simple as bending over to clean the toilet causes extreme pain, and hot compresses, rest, and painkillers are of no help, and the injury is not caused by exercise, then it may be caused by an arterial aneurysm or kidney stones, the latter of which will cause more severe pain.

It is best to get a CT scan as soon as possible to determine the cause.

2. Leg pain

One of my lower legs was swollen and painful to the touch, with a burning sensation from the inside out.

It may be due to abnormal coagulation of blood in the deep veins, which leads to blood clots. If medical treatment is not sought in time, severe cases may cause pulmonary embolism and threaten life.

It is best to perform venography as soon as possible to determine the location and extent of the thrombus, and then use drugs to eliminate the thrombus.

3. Severe abdominal pain

This pain feels like being cut by a knife and may be caused by inflammation of the abdominal organs, such as appendicitis, pancreatitis or cholecystitis.

The specific judgment method is: pain in the lower right abdomen may be appendicitis; pain in the upper abdomen and increased white blood cell levels may be cholecystitis; pain below the sternum may be pancreatitis.

4. Short-term chest pain

This kind of pain comes and goes quickly, with a sharp pain and then disappearing. It may be caused by indigestion or a heart attack. You should go to the hospital as soon as possible to check whether the heart tissue is damaged.

5. Painful urination

If urination not only hurts but also has a rusty color, it may be caused by cystitis or even bladder cancer.

Smoking is the main cause of this disease. Once discovered, the earlier it is treated, the higher the chance of cure.

6. Persistent foot or calf pain

If you have persistent pain in the instep and calf that gets worse with exercise and doesn't go away with rest, and pain medications don't help relieve your symptoms, you may have a fatigue fracture from overtraining or exercise.

It is best to have an X-ray scan to determine the location of the fracture, and at the same time, stop all strenuous activities until it heals.
