Boys' reproductive development standards

Boys' reproductive development standards

Sex organs are organs of the body that produce somatic cells for reproduction. The sex organs of humans and higher animals include male seminal vesicles, ejaculatory ducts, male testicles, male genitals, etc. The male reproductive system consists of two parts: internal organs and reproductive organs. The development level of a child's genitals has a great impact on future fertility. Let's discuss the standard of male reproductive growth and development.

The reproductive organs include the scrotum and male genitals; the internal reproductive organs include the prostate gland (male testicles), ejaculatory ducts (episodic cyst, ejaculatory ducts, vas deferens and urethral opening) and their attached glands (spermatic vesicles, male prostate and bulbourethral glands); the female uterus, ovaries, bilateral fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina, etc. The reproductive organs of humans and higher animals are necessary standards for sexual behavior.

When boys enter puberty, their male genitals and scrotum begin to grow rapidly. The growth and development of male genitals and scrotum can be divided into five stages.

The first part is about the baby's condition. From birth until the onset of puberty, the reproductive organs grow slightly, but overall there is basically no change in appearance.

In the second stage, the scrotum begins to expand, the scrotum skin becomes a little red, and the color also changes.

In the third stage, the length of the penis increases, the total width also increases slightly, and the scrotum grows further.

In the fourth stage, the penis length and total width further increase, and the glans penis is formed. The scrotum further expands, and the color of the scrotum skin becomes darker and darker.

At stage 5, the reproductive organs become adult-like in size and appearance.

The growth and development of the genitals and scrotum varies greatly from person to person. Some boys have their genitals and scrotum grown to adult size at the age of 15, while some boys do not fully grow until the age of 18 (or even older in some cases).

Before puberty, the testicle volume of boys does not increase much. The testicle volume is generally 1-2ml, rarely 3ml, and the growth and development is also incomplete. The seminiferous tubules are narrow and cord-like, and there is no obvious inferior vena cava. After entering puberty, the testicles grow and develop rapidly, and the testicle volume increases significantly with age.
