Painless red urine in men

Painless red urine in men

What is the reason for red urine in men? Many men feel very anxious when they find their urine is red, thinking that they have some terminal illness. In fact, red urine is not necessarily hematuria. In fact, there are many reasons that can cause red urine. So what is the reason?

Most hematuria is related to male urinary diseases, such as urinary tract infection, stones, prostate disease, tumors, trauma, etc. Most patients with hematuria are often accompanied by other symptoms, such as acute cystitis, urethritis and other urogenital infections caused by hematuria, often accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine and urinary pain and other bladder irritation symptoms; hematuria caused by urinary stones is generally accompanied by subacute waist pain, etc.

1. Prostatic hyperplasia: such as prostate hyperplasia, but it is not easy to detect with the human eye. It can usually be observed under a microscope. This type of situation occurs less frequently.

2. Inflammation: If a man suffers from some genital infections and inflammations, his urine will be bloody and red. Common symptoms include acute cystitis, urethritis, etc.

3. Other reasons: such as exudative diseases, septic heart failure, sepsis, vitamin C and K deficiency, hypercalciuria, neonatal symptoms, etc.

4. Traumatic: This refers to the fact that men suffer from traumatic injuries to the urinary and reproductive system due to explosive force, which causes bleeding and is discharged in the urine.

5. Hemoglobinuria or natriuresis: The urine is a uniform dark red or soy sauce color, and is de-aerated after fluctuation. No blood cells are found under optical microscopy. A positive benzidine test is commonly seen in hemolytic anemia, erroneous intravenous injection, compression injury, large area burns, dengue fever and rhabdomyolysis syndrome; it is rarely caused by the following compounds such as: isopropyl arsenic trititanium, phenol, carbon monoxide, chloroform, oxalic acid, potassium chlorate, quinoline, quinine, sulfonamide, cowpea, snake venom, etc.

Hematuria is usually a symptom. When hematuria occurs, men should treat it correctly, go to a regular hospital in time to find out the cause, actively receive treatment after diagnosis, and avoid excessive psychological pressure on themselves.
