What are the small red blisters on the glans?

The weather was quite hot some time ago, and bacteria were breeding very badly. Many male friends did not pay enough attention to the hygiene of their reproductive organs. Many people found that their glans had some inflammation, some turned red and itchy, and the more serious ones grew small fleshy grains. Some also grew many small red bumps or small red blisters. Next, the editor will show you what is going on with the small red blisters on the glans.

Small red blisters on the glans may be caused by galactitis, which refers to an inflammation of the glans mucosa caused by trauma, irritation or infection.

It can be caused by many factors, such as local physical stimulation (trauma, friction, contraceptive devices, detergents, urine, etc.), foreskin is too long, phimosis, smegma stimulation, various infections (bacteria, fungi, amoeba, trichomonas, etc.) and drug allergy.

It is mainly based on clinical manifestations, combined with pathological examination and laboratory examination. For example, if it is caused by Candida infection, direct microscopic examination and culture of the lesion site can find Candida; if it is caused by amoeba, smear examination of secretions can find amoeba; pathological changes of plasmacytoid glansitis have diagnostic value. This disease should be distinguished from fixed drug eruption caused by drugs.

Acute superficial glansitis: edema, erythema, erosion, exudation and bleeding. In severe cases, blisters may appear. If secondary infection occurs, ulcers may form, covered with purulent exudate. There is spontaneous pain and tenderness. Some patients may have mild systemic symptoms, such as fatigue, weakness, low fever, enlarged inguinal lymph nodes, etc.

Candidal glansitis: caused by Candida infection. Clinical manifestations include erythema, smooth surface, slight desquamation around, scattered papules or small pustules around, and slowly expanding to the surrounding area. Edema, erythema, erosion, and exudate may occur in the acute stage.

Trichomonal glansitis: It is a mild, transient erosive glansitis caused by trichomonas infection. Initially, erythema and papules appear on the glans, with clear boundaries and gradually expanding. There may be small blisters ranging from the size of a needle tip to a millet grain on the erythema, which may expand and fuse with each other to form a mild erosive surface.

When problems with the glans penis occur, you should go to the hospital for examination in time. You must find out which pathogen is causing the problem. After identifying the pathogen, you must do a drug sensitivity test to determine which drug the bacteria is resistant to and conduct targeted treatment. If it is glansitis, you must also distinguish which type of glansitis you have and do not blindly treat it.
