Gonorrhea is a very common sexually transmitted disease, which is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse. Sexually transmitted diseases are very harmful. Once infected, they must be treated in time, otherwise they will be transmitted between couples, and cross-infection will increase the difficulty of treatment. Drugs that can treat sexually transmitted diseases are a concern for many patients. So, what medicine is good for male gonorrhea? Let's take a look below. ①Penicillins It kills bacteria by destroying bacterial wall synthesis. This type of drug is suitable for treating gonorrhea caused by non-penicillinase-resistant gonococci (PPNG) and is the "standard treatment" for this disease. However, it is inappropriate to use it as a routine treatment without performing a drug sensitivity test before treatment. When the prevalence of PPNG strains is greater than 5%, penicillin treatment should not be used, but other preparations should be selected. The purpose of taking probenecid is to slow down the excretion of penicillin from the kidneys, reduce its binding to plasma proteins, increase blood levels, and prolong its half-life in order to fully exert its antibacterial effect. ②β-lactamase inhibitors The main reason why PPNG strains are resistant to penicillin and some cephalosporins is the production of β-lactamase. Clavulanic acid and penicillin sulfone are compounds with very weak antibacterial activity. When used in combination with antibiotics containing β-lactam rings, they can inhibit the growth of PPNG strains by inhibiting β-lactamase and protecting the antibiotics from destruction, but they do not play a significant role in non-PPNG strains. The pharmacokinetic characteristics of clavulanic acid and penicillin sulfone are similar to those of amoxicillin (hydroxyampicillin) and ampicillin (ampicillin), respectively, and each is suitable for combined use with the latter. ③Aminoglycosides and aminocyclic sugar alcohols The main function is to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis. It is used to treat patients who are resistant to or allergic to penicillin. Commonly used drugs in the former category include gentamicin (GENTAMYCIN), kanamycin (KANAMYCIN), amikacin (butylamine kanamycin) and netilmicin (ethyl sildamicin); The latter category of drugs mainly includes spectinomycin (Linbizhi), which has a cure rate of over 98% for simple gonorrhea caused by PPNG strains and non-PPNG strains, and also has excellent efficacy for gonorrhea with combined symptoms. Moreover, the drug does not produce cross-resistance with penicillins and cephalosporins, is safe to use, and is one of the best drugs for the treatment of gonorrhea. There are many drugs for the treatment of gonorrhea. These drugs can solve the problem very well and the cure rate is very high. We need to understand. In addition to the above drug treatments, there are other treatments for gonorrhea that can also help us. |
