Prostatic hyperplasia is a condition in which the body, under the influence of factors such as estrogen imbalance, causes the gradual proliferation of the glandular connective tissue and smooth muscle tissue in the middle or inverted lobe under the posterior urethral mucosa, resulting in multiple spherical masses, causing a series of neurological disorders in the urethral orifice, bladder and kidney functions. In the early stage of the disease, the main symptom is increased urination frequency, ranging from 2 to 3 times at night, and up to 5 to 6 times, and the urination time increases. With the further hyperplasia of the male prostate, the obstruction of urine becomes more severe, and the urine flow becomes thin, so that urine is retained in the bladder and cannot be discharged. Over time, the bladder's ability to repay gradually decreases and becomes ineffective. If at this time, drinking, fatigue, and climate problems will cause further hemorrhage and edema of the male prostate, aggravating the obstruction symptoms, and then causing water retention in the urethra, kidney dysfunction, and coma and other uremic symptoms, which seriously endanger life. Prostatic hyperplasia itself does not pose a risk factor, but it does cause three key types of harm. First, if your bladder never empties safely, the accumulated urine can become infected (see cystitis in men). Second, when the flow of urine is blocked, the pressure inside the bladder increases, and the kidney function and urethra (the tube that carries urine from the kidneys to the bladder) will be affected. This can cause kidney infection (see subacute pyelonephritis). Eventually, if you develop a more severe, untreated prostate enlargement, your bladder muscles may not be able to break free of the frictional resistance that blocks the flow of urine and may suddenly or slowly cease functioning. Prevention of prostate hyperplasia 1. Keep it clean: Men's scrotum is very elastic, and they metabolize more sweat. In addition, the private parts are poorly ventilated, so it is easy to hide dirt, and some bacteria will always take advantage of the opportunity to enter. This will cause prostatitis, prostate hyperplasia, and sexual dysfunction. If you don't pay attention in time, it will continue to cause risks. Therefore, insisting on cleaning the vulva is a key step to prevent prostatitis. 2. Avoid getting cold: The weather is cold in autumn and winter, so you should pay attention to keeping warm and prevent colds. Prevent the occurrence of influenza and respiratory infections; do not sit on cool stones for a long time, because severe cold can increase the excitement of the central nervous system, resulting in increased air pressure in the urethra and causing reflux. 3. Health massage: You can do self-massage before going to bed to achieve the purpose of health care. The actual operation is as follows: Lie on your back, straighten your left leg, put your right hand on the Shenjue (navel), rotate with the middle thumb, ring finger, and ring finger of the right hand, and then use the three fingers of the left hand to rotate and massage the perineum, a total of 100 times. End the stock and change hands to do the same posture. There are Qihai acupoint, Guanyuan acupoint, and Zhongge acupoint around the navel eye. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it is the place of Dantian. This kind of massage is beneficial to bladder repair. A slight massage after urination can promote bladder emptying and reduce residual urine volume. The perineum acupoint is a life and death acupoint, which can pass the Ren and Du meridians. Massage accelerates the blood circulation of the perineum, which has the effect of anti-inflammatory, analgesic and swelling. Three levels Primary prevention means that after having prostate disease, you should be able to treat it early and thoroughly without leaving any complications and symptoms. Secondary prevention is how to maintain the function of the disease after it has undergone organic changes. For example, if the male prostate has already developed grade II obesity, it is unrealistic to say that taking medicine can remove it and restore it to normal size. However, it should help it to restore the function of urination, ensure that it is not blocked, full and natural, and maintain normal kidney function. The third level of prevention is to actively carry out health lessons among the group without prostate disease, and suggest that the whole society should pay attention to men's health. Paying attention to men's health should start from the male prostate, and promote the public's understanding of the importance of men's prostate health. "Prostate disease is not easy to cure, but it can be cured, and it is not terrible. What is terrible is the whole society's neglect and ignorance of this potential sexual oppression." Of course, health lessons should be centered around the entire process of prostate disease prevention, preventing it when there is no disease, and promoting rehabilitation treatment when it is sick. |
