Does it hurt to pinch the testicles?

It is natural to feel some pain when you pinch the testicles with your hands, because this is the reproductive organ of male friends. If it is hit by external force or squeezed, it will be easily injured. After all, this part is relatively fragile. That is why you should protect your testicles even more. Once any problem occurs, you should find a suitable treatment method and start treatment as soon as possible.

Testicles are male internal reproductive organs. Normal men have two testicles, one on the left and one on the right side of the scrotum. Testicles are oval and grayish white. Adult testicles are 3.5-4.5 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, 1-2 cm thick, and weigh 10-15 grams per testicle. Generally, the left testicle is about 1 cm lower than the right testicle. Some people have one testicle that is larger than the other, or one that is higher than the other. If the difference is not too big, it is normal. There are a large number of curved seminiferous tubules in the testicles, which contain interstitial cells.

The seminiferous tubules are where sperms are produced. The number of sperms produced in a man's lifetime is astonishing. A single ejaculation of 3-4 ml contains 300-400 million sperms, or as few as 100-200 million. The number of sperms produced in a lifetime can reach more than 1 trillion. The production of sperms is easily affected by many factors, such as temperature. If the temperature around the testicles is too high or affected by chemical toxins, sperm production will be impaired. Interstitial cells produce androgens, which are closely related to male secondary sexual characteristics and physiological functions.

The testicles have a thick fibrous membrane that divides the testicles into many testicular lobules. The connective tissue between the seminiferous tubules in the testicular lobules contains interstitial cells that secrete male hormones. Once men enter puberty at the age of 12-14, interstitial cells can produce a large amount of testosterone.

Testosterone is the main component of male hormones, and its biological effects in the human body are extremely important. It is currently believed that the reason why testosterone levels gradually decrease with age may be related to the aging of the testicular system due to daily wear and tear of the human body and excessive stress in life. When male hormones drop to a certain level, symptoms such as irritability, depression, fatigue, and decreased libido will appear, which means that male menopause has begun.

Testicular care is an important means to solve male dysfunction. Men can massage the testicles with both hands when taking a bath or before going to bed. Use your thumb to gently pinch the testicles clockwise and counterclockwise for ten minutes each. Long-term persistence will definitely be beneficial. If you feel abnormal pain during massage, it may be orchitis or epididymitis. Please go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

Testosterone

Testosterone is the main component of male hormones. Its biological effects in the human body are extremely important, mainly in the following aspects:

(1) Testosterone levels peak during the neonatal period and drop to the lowest level before puberty.

(2) During puberty, testosterone levels rise. The age at which testosterone levels in the blood rise is between 12 and 17 years old, which also indicates that the male's sexual function has basically matured, and he has the ability to produce sperm and the awakening of sexual desire.

(3) When men are between 20 and 30 years old, their testosterone levels are as high as 600 μg/dl, and they also show rhythmic fluctuations. That is, there are cyclical changes throughout the year and rhythmic changes every day. The testosterone level of adult men is highest in autumn and lowest in spring. The cyclical rhythmic changes every day are highest in the early morning and lowest in the evening.
