Headache after circumcision

Headache after circumcision

Many men have the problem of foreskin being too long. Foreskin being too long will affect the health of the male glans penis to a certain extent, and will also greatly reduce the quality of male sexual life. For this reason, many people will choose to undergo circumcision surgery to ensure the health of their reproductive organs. However, after the circumcision surgery, many people will experience pain. This is normal and needs to be handled in a certain way.

1. If the wound is painful and bleeding, you can apply cold compress and pressure to stop the bleeding.

If the bleeding is severe, you should return to the hospital immediately for treatment. After circumcision surgery, you should wear loose underwear. Generally, after the operation, the doctor will put a gauze curtain on the perineum after dressing the wound, in order to reduce the friction of the glans penis.

2. Keep a stable mood within one week after the operation and refrain from sexual intercourse for one month

Avoid erection as much as possible to prevent the incision from splitting, bleeding and infection. If erection occurs, take a deep breath and come to the hospital for follow-up if necessary. Before the wound heals, the gauze should be changed regularly and rechecked.

3. Clean properly and drink less water

During the recovery period, urine may leak out and stain your underwear. Try not to drink water or drink less water before going to bed, and urinate immediately if you feel the urge. If you accidentally wet the gauze, you should go to the hospital to change it immediately.

4. Avoid standing or sitting for long periods of time

It is normal for the glans penis to be slightly swollen within 3 to 4 days after surgery. This is a reaction of the body caused by anesthesia and surgery. Note that the swelling is pink at this time. Try to rest in bed during this period, avoid standing or sitting for a long time, and take sedatives before going to bed to prevent penile erection, which may cause pain and bleeding.

5. Seek medical attention immediately if bleeding is severe

After the circumcision, there will be some wounds, and you need to go to the hospital for a follow-up examination in time. Keep the wound dry and hygienic, and try not to wet the gauze. If the penis is erect, protect the wound with your hand, and use the other hand to press the glans hard to allow the penis to shrink naturally to avoid tearing of the wound. If the wound is swollen and painful and bleeding, it is best to wrap some ice cubes with Moa Jin and apply cold compress to the swollen area. If the bleeding is severe, it is best to go to the hospital for examination.
