Squats and Testosterone

Squats and Testosterone

As the saying goes: Men do heavy squats, women can't stand it. Women do heavy squats, men can't stand it. Men and women love to do heavy squats, and the bed can't stand it.

Some people say that weighted squats can increase the body's testosterone. Why is that? Weighted squats can increase the body's testosterone. The key is that squat training can increase the muscle content of the legs, especially the thighs. The increase in muscle content may increase the body's testosterone level.

Let's first talk about testosterone. Testosterone, also known as testosterone, is the most specific androgen, mainly metabolized by the male testicles and female ovaries. As far as we adults are concerned, the effect of testosterone on men is also quite significant, for example: maintaining the compressive strength of human muscles, the relative density of bones, and their own physical quality and mental outlook.

After men are over 30 years old, their testosterone levels will gradually decrease as they age. In addition to paying attention to your usual diet, a more effective way to increase your testosterone levels is to increase your muscle mass. An increase in muscle mass will drive an increase in testosterone, and an increase in testosterone will in turn drive muscle growth and development.

The chest, back and thighs are the three major muscle groups in our body, and the fat rate of the inner thigh muscle group ranks first among the three muscle groups. The weighted squat is the gold medal posture for inner thigh muscle training.

Weighted squat training can improve the composition of our thigh and waist muscles, and of course it may also promote the growth and development of muscles in other parts of our body, which is of course beneficial to increase our own testosterone; therefore, there is a saying in the fitness circle that "women can't stand men's leg training (weighted squats), men can't stand women's leg training (weighted squats), and men and women can't stand the bed when they train their legs (weighted squats).

So why can weighted squats promote the conversion of testosterone in the human body?

Because testosterone plays the role of promoting muscle growth in the human body. We may all know that weighted squats are used to train thigh muscles, and thigh muscles account for about half of our body's bone mass, so leg training can greatly increase our body's muscles.

Testosterone is needed to increase muscle mass. Due to habitual exercise, our bodies may store a large amount of testosterone to meet the needs of muscle building.

Strictly speaking, any professional sports training that involves stress resistance may promote the conversion of testosterone in the human body.

So the more you exercise, the stronger you will become!

However, when using muscle training to increase the body's muscle composition, or to promote testis, attention should be paid to the training of large muscle groups, the development of multiple muscles and multiple joints, and the compressive strength of the training.

For the training of large muscle groups, it is necessary to ensure that all three major muscle groups are trained; for the training of multiple muscles and joints, it is necessary to increase the training of weighted squats, lying presses, pull-ups, plank supports and other postures; for the compressive strength of the training, it is necessary to do more muscle training of 6-10RM.

For the training of the inner thigh muscle groups, while maintaining the basic squat training, you can also do different training such as leg curling deadlift, lunge squat, hip thrust, equipment leg extension, front leg extension and flexion, back leg extension and flexion, leg abduction and leg adduction.

So what are the benefits of having high testosterone?

1. Studies have shown that people with high testosterone have stronger athletic abilities and can achieve better test results in sports.

2. Testosterone plays a very important role in one's ability. If the testosterone level is too low, one's ability will be insufficient, and one will lack the masculine physique, and even lack confidence and charm.

3. Testosterone can increase the relative density of bone hyperplasia in the human body, thereby preventing osteoporosis.

After the age of 30, the body's testosterone actually decreases by 1% every year without external interference, so by that time, will you be a tiger? Or will you still feel insufficient energy! If you don't want to retire early, then be proactive in training! Weighted squats are really a very good choice.
