2. Ultrasound examination: In some patients with chronic prostatitis, the capsule reflection is not smooth due to local exudation, fibrosis and adhesion. In severe cases, the capsule boundary is unclear. The gland has regular shape, symmetrical left and right, and localized reduction of reflection can be seen inside.

3. Bacteriological examination: It helps to diagnose and treat chronic prostatitis. A positive result can usually be diagnosed as bacterial chronic prostatitis.

4. A negative result of a single prostatic fluid test cannot easily rule out the disease, while a positive result can generally make a diagnosis of chronic prostatitis.
