Side Effects of Vasectomy

Vasectomy is the best contraceptive method currently available, which can better prevent unwanted pregnancies. If the epididymis continues to be swollen, tender, sore and uncomfortable for more than half a year after the operation, the following treatments can be used: ① local closure with 0.25% procaine; ② ultrashort wave or infrared therapy, 1/d, 6-10 times as a course of treatment; ③ oral administration of Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis; ④ for those who have not been cured for a long time, consider epididymis removal or vasectomy after careful approval by the family planning agency.

Influencing factors

1. The interval between ligation and anastomosis. Generally speaking, the anastomosis effect is better within 10 years after ligation.
