How is scrotal herpes caused?

The appearance of herpes in the scrotum is also caused by genital herpes, which is a common sexually transmitted disease with a relatively high hazard rate and a high incidence rate. There are also many causes. The most common cause is unclean sexual life, which is a relatively important transmission route. In addition, traumatic infection or contact with some daily necessities of the patient may induce this situation.

How is scrotal herpes caused?

1. Traumatic infection

If the human body suffers from trauma and is affected by reduced immunity, it is easy to develop infection symptoms. If the infection is not treated in time, the patient's chance of developing genital herpes will increase. For patients who have a history of genital herpes or are in the process of developing the disease, traumatic infection can also cause recurrence and aggravation of symptoms.

2. Hormone changes

Among the factors that cause genital herpes, changes in hormones are also an important factor, and most patients are affected by this factor. Long-term excessive fatigue or long-term unresolved cold symptoms can cause hormonal disorders in the body and cause genital herpes. Women are also more likely to get sick during menstruation due to changes in hormones in the body.

3. Unclean sexual relations

Unclean sexual relations are an important factor in causing genital herpes. Surveys show that many patients have a history of unclean sexual life. The incidence rate is higher among sex workers. With the development of society and the openness of people's sexual concepts, the incidence rate of unclean sexual relations will be higher, and the incidence rate of genital herpes will also increase.

4. Infection from other diseases

It is reported that HSV infection causes damage to the skin and mucous membranes in the genital area. Since HSV infection is prone to recurrence, the risk of genital herpes patients contracting syphilis and AIDS is greatly increased.

In addition, herpes virus type 2 can also infect newborns. If a pregnant woman is infected with herpes virus type 2 in the first three months of pregnancy, she may suffer from fetal malformation or stillbirth. If the fetus is born, the newborn may be infected, and the mortality rate may be between 50% and 60%. If a woman has herpes in the cervix or genitals, she may also be at risk of developing a tumor.

Genital herpes infection is a systemic disease. The virus enters the human body through the respiratory tract, oral cavity, genital mucosa or broken skin, and can lurk in the normal mucosa, blood, saliva, local sensory ganglia and most organs of the human body. HSV can be isolated from almost all internal organs and mucosal epidermis.
