Symptoms of fungal glansitis

Symptoms of fungal glansitis

If the human body is infected by bacteria and fungi, it will become ill. Many dermatitis are caused by bacterial infection. Fungal glansitis has become a very troubling problem for many men. The male reproductive organ is very important to men. Therefore, if the male glans becomes inflamed, it must be treated in time. Let's take a look at the symptoms of fungal glansitis.

Fungal glansitis is often caused by fungal, chlamydia, mycoplasma, herpes and other bacterial and fungal infections, and sometimes by foreskin being too long. Poor personal hygiene can lead to infection of the glans penis by bacteria, fungi or other pathogens, and irritation of the glans penis skin by chemicals, such as soaps and detergents, can also cause infection. Male friends should be vigilant.

Causes of fungal glansitis

Fungal glansitis is caused by fungi. Fungi are usually divided into three categories, namely yeast, mold and mushroom (large fungi). Fungal glansitis is caused by mold. The typical one is Candida albicans glansitis. Candida is a conditionally pathogenic fungus, so Candida glansitis often occurs after diabetes, senile wasting diseases and large amounts of antibiotics or hormone treatment. It can also be primary, mostly transmitted by spouse's Candida vaginitis. There may be light red erosions and thin-walled pustules on the glans and coronal sulcus, but Candida is often not found locally, which may be caused by local allergic reactions caused by Candida.

Common symptoms of fungal glansitis

1. Initially, local flushing, redness and swelling of the penis skin, burning and itching of the glans penis. When the foreskin is turned back, congestion and erosion can be seen, with exudate and even bleeding. After secondary infection, small ulcers and milky white foul-smelling secretions can be seen.

2. Red spots can be seen on the foreskin of the glans penis, which gradually expand into a ring shape and form an ulcerated surface.

3. Erythema can be seen on the foreskin and glans, with a smooth surface and small blisters and clear edges. In acute attacks, there is erosion and exudate.

4. Papules and erythema on the glans penis gradually expand with clear edges. Small blisters the size of a needle can be seen on the erythema, and finally an erosive surface is formed.

If glans inflammation is not treated in time, it is easy to cause ascending infection and lead to a series of urinary system diseases, which is very harmful. I hope that patients will pay attention to it, receive professional treatment in time, and get rid of the disease troubles as soon as possible.
