What is the cause of the small fleshy bumps on the penis?

The penis is one of the most important parts of male reproduction. It is a tool for men to give birth and enjoy the happiness of married life. Therefore, the penis is highly valued. Any symptoms that cause penis discomfort will cause men to be highly sensitive. For example, abnormal things often appear on the penis, which makes men very embarrassed. Let's take a look at what is the matter with small flesh bumps on the penis?

Typical condyloma acuminatum

Genital and perianal areas are the most common sites. In men, it is more common in the foreskin, frenulum, coronal sulcus, glans penis, urethral orifice, penis body, perianal area, rectum and scrotum. In women, it is more common in the labia majora and minora, posterior symphysis, vestibule, clitoris, cervix and perianal area. Occasionally, it can be seen in areas other than the genitals and perianal area, such as the axilla, umbilical fossa, oral cavity, breasts and between toes. Female vaginitis and male prepuce hyperplasia are the factors that promote the occurrence of condyloma acuminatum.

The lesions are initially small, light red papules, which gradually increase in size and number, distributed singly or in clusters, moist and soft, with an uneven surface, and are papillary, cockscomb-shaped or cauliflower-like protrusions. They are red or dirty gray. There is often a pedicle at the root, and erosion and exudation are prone to occur, and they bleed easily when touched. There is often accumulation of purulent secretions between the cracks of skin lesions, resulting in a foul odor, and secondary infection may occur due to scratching. This disease is often asymptomatic, and some patients may experience foreign body sensation, pain, itching or pain during sexual intercourse. Condylomas in the rectum may cause pain, blood in the stool, and a feeling of tenesmus.

1. Cryotherapy

Using liquid nitrogen at -196℃, cryotherapy is used to treat condyloma acuminatum, which promotes the necrosis and shedding of wart tissue. The operation is simple, efficient, and easy for patients to tolerate. This method is suitable for small number and small area of convulsant warts, and can be treated 1 to 2 times, with an interval of one week.

2. Laser therapy

Usually CO2 laser is used to treat condyloma acuminatum by ablation. Single or a small number of multiple warts can be treated once, while multiple or large warts can be treated 2 to 3 times, usually with an interval of one week.

3. Electrocautery

Use high-frequency electroacupuncture or electrosurgery to remove the warts. This treatment is suitable for warts that are small in number and area.

4.Surgery

It is suitable for giant condyloma acuminatum, and can be removed completely or in batches.
