Men's hair loss is caused by these reasons

Nowadays, people are under too much pressure and are busy at work. Over time, not only will they experience hair loss, but their hairline will also be affected. There are many reasons for local hair loss and hair loss in multiple places, which are usually accompanied by genetic factors and androgen problems. Men experience hair loss more often than women, especially in middle-aged and elderly people. Men's hair loss will start from the sides and forehead, and eventually the hairline will slowly disappear.

How much do you know about the causes of hair loss?

Androgenic alopecia

Throughout history, there has been a lot of research on hair loss in men, but it wasn't until recent years, with a lot of knowledge about the genetics and the chemistry of sex hormones, that people really understood the causes of hair loss.

The most common type of hair loss is male pattern alopecia, also known as seborrheic alopecia, premature baldness, and commonly known as baldness. In recent years, the mainstream academic name is androgenic alopecia.

Male pattern baldness is generally caused by the level of male hormones in the hair follicles, which is affected by genetic factors. It has the following three related factors:

Genetic factors:

The sensitivity of individuals or hair in different parts of the head to male hormones is different. This difference is largely determined by genetic genes. However, genetic genes are not necessarily passed on to every member of the family. Just like a father is bald, but his children may not all be bald. The gene related to hair loss is passed on to his offspring in a dominant genetic way, that is, a person inherits a pair of chromosomes from his parents, as long as one of them carries the hair loss gene, he may have hair loss.

Males are not prone to this disease before puberty, and its genetic characteristics can only be manifested under the influence of male hormones.

Androgen:

The scalp mainly contains sebaceous glands and the outer root sheath of hair follicles, as well as the tissues around the hair follicles, which can convert weak androgens into strong androgens type I and 5α-reductase. Dehydroandrosterone is converted into testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) through the action of this enzyme. Testosterone can also be converted into dihydrotestosterone under the action of this enzyme. This conversion occurs more in the prostate and causes a higher level of dihydrotestosterone in the blood.
