(4) Rub the soles of your feet: After rubbing your palms together to warm them up, rub the sole of your left foot with your right palm, and then rub the sole of your right foot with your left palm, 50 times each. Do this 3 times each in the morning, noon, and evening. (5) Point pressure method: Used in the umbilicus, lower abdomen, and above the pubic symphysis from left to right. Press gently, once every 1 to 2 seconds, and press continuously for about 20 times, but be careful not to use too much force. Used for urinary retention caused by prostatic hypertrophy. 3. After defecation Massage therapy can be performed after cleaning the anus and lower rectum. The patient takes the chest-knee position or the side-lying position. The doctor uses the index finger to touch the prostate along the anus to the anus wall of the rectum, and then gently presses the prostate from the outside to the top, inside to the bottom. At the same time, the patient is instructed to lift the anus to discharge the prostate fluid out of the urethra and urinate immediately. 4. Back massage therapy (1) Place your hands behind your back and use the base of your thumb (first and second metacarpal bones) to massage from below the shoulder blades along the bladder meridian on both sides of the spine to the center of the buttocks, moving up and down with a little force for 36 times until you feel warmth. (2) Use the base of your hands to massage your lower back and forth 36 times, centering on the Shenshu point (1.5 inches below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra), until you feel heat. (3) Use your left palm to massage from the coccyx upward along the spine to the middle of the thoracic spine. Use your right hand to massage from the middle of the thoracic spine downward along the spine to the coccyx. When the two hands meet, the upper palm passes through the lower palm. Massage 36 times in total until you feel a fever. (4) Place your palms together and place them on the eight acupoints (above the coccyx at the lower back, in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th sacral foramina). Massage 36 times with a little force until you feel warm or hot. But be careful not to damage the skin. |
