Common causes of premature ejaculation

Common causes of premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is a roadblock to sexual happiness between men and women, and it is a problem that many men try their best to avoid. Although the ideal of increasing sexual happiness is beautiful, the desire to do so makes premature ejaculation deprive the other party of the right to enjoy sexual happiness. However, once a man ejaculates, he can feel sexual pleasure no matter how early it is. Therefore, premature ejaculation is more of a pain for women than a tragedy for men. What are the common causes of premature ejaculation?

1. Spiritual elements

This type of premature ejaculation patient can also be called psychological premature ejaculation. The mental factors that cause men's premature ejaculation include many aspects.

It should be noted that this kind of anxiety and uneasiness of men about sexual life will continue and will not change immediately due to changes in the sexual environment. At the same time, long-term unsuccessful sexual life will have a counter-effect, leading to polarization of the patient's psychological state.

2. Organic diseases

Many male diseases reduce the excitement of men's ejaculation center, which makes it easier for men to ejaculate, such as urethritis, seminal vesiculitis, prostatitis and other inflammations.

3. Other reasons

Long foreskin, tight underwear and other factors that cause excessive stimulation to the glans penis can all cause premature ejaculation in men.

There are many causes of premature ejaculation, but they can be grouped into two main categories:

(1) Caused by mental factors (psychogenic): More than 80% of premature ejaculation patients are caused by mental factors. Nadelson (1978) reported that psychological factors accounted for 85% of premature ejaculation patients. For example, reunion after a long separation, honeymoon travel, excessive excitement or anxiety, excessive fatigue, depression, drinking, sexual intercourse between husband and wife, emotional disharmony between husband and wife, the husband's latent sexual prejudice against his wife, hatred and anger, or excessive fear of his wife. Admiration, inferiority complex, etc. are all factors that cause premature ejaculation. The common psychological reasons are as follows: some people are timid during sex, fearing that men will ejaculate too early and make their wives dissatisfied; some people, due to misunderstandings about sex knowledge, suspect that their sexual function is not high for no reason, and are always self-confused during sex. This situation is common in those who think their penis is short or that their body is weak, and the relationship between husband and wife is not harmonious, such as suspicion, jealousy or too much jealousy of the wife. Excessive respect can also cause premature ejaculation. Some people pay too much attention to sex life, have too high expectations, or are too anxious about experiencing premature ejaculation once or twice, which may aggravate the psychological burden, cause anxiety, premature ejaculation, more anxiety, and premature ejaculation again. The polarization makes premature ejaculation fixed. On the wedding night, the couple has sex for the first time. The emotions are excited and the nerves are highly excited. The groom may ejaculate when the genitals are touched or the male genitals are put into the vagina. There are also cases where couples meet after a long separation and have a faster sexual impulse, and the man ejaculates earlier. This situation cannot be diagnosed as premature ejaculation. As the couple lives together, it will gradually return to normal and no treatment is needed. Frequent sexual life after marriage, nervousness and anxiety, excessive excitement or worry about ejaculating too quickly may lead to unsuccessful sexual life. Excessive physical fatigue and lack of concentration may also weaken the central control of ejaculation. When the body is weak, the brain's inhibitory ability is weakened, which may also cause premature ejaculation.

(2) Organic diseases: For example, genital malformation, prepuce is too long, inflammation of the glans penis or prepuce, urethritis, vulvitis, multiple sclerosis, spinal nerve tumor, brain injury accident, epididymitis, chronic prostatitis, etc. can all reflexively affect the spinal nerve center and cause premature ejaculation. Certain systemic diseases and physical deterioration can also cause male sexual dysfunction and premature ejaculation.
