Symptoms of excessive gastric acid: these three points are typical

In daily life, when people have symptoms of acid reflux, it is usually caused by excessive stomach acid. In daily life, people can also detect the existence of this symptom through the symptoms of excessive stomach acid.

Symptom 1: Acid Reflux

Acid reflux refers to the reflux of gastric contents through the esophagus to the oropharynx, and the oral cavity feels the presence of acidic substances. It and the duodenal contents reflux through the stomach and esophagus to the oropharynx, and the oral cavity feels the presence of bitter substances, which is collectively referred to as reflux. The symptoms and harms caused by acid reflux may include ① heartburn; ② esophageal pain; ③ dysphagia; ④ dysphagia; ⑤ respiratory symptoms.

Acid reflux differs from vomiting in that it is not accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Acid reflux differs from nausea in that it is the involuntary regurgitation of ingested solid food into the mouth and subsequent re-chewing or re-swallowing (usually within half an hour after a meal, in healthy people who eat large amounts of food in a hurry or in those with severe mental illness).

Things to note about acid reflux:

1. Learn to relax, avoid mental stress, and arrange your life in a regular manner.

2. Reduce the amount of food you eat and help obese people lose weight.

3. Do not smoke, drink alcohol or beverages containing alcohol or coffee, or drink strong tea.

4. Avoid eating citrus fruits, chocolate, mint, greasy foods, onions and spicy foods.

5. Loosen your belt and do not lie down or go to bed for at least 2 to 3 hours after eating.

6. Raise the upper part of the bed to prevent stomach contents from flowing back into the esophagus. You can use products such as mattresses.

7. Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, indomethacin, phenylbutazone and corticosteroids.

8. If you experience regular upper abdominal pain (when hungry or after meals) or severe burning sensation, you should go to the hospital for treatment.

Symptom 2: Heartburn

Heartburn is a burning pain in the upper abdomen or lower chest accompanied by acid reflux. Heartburn is one of the most common digestive symptoms. For most people, the most common cause is eating too fast or too much. However, some people often have heartburn even if they are very careful about their diet. Some people also have heartburn after eating certain foods such as wine and chili peppers. These foods can relax your lower esophageal sphincter or increase gastric acid secretion. Both of these reasons can cause heartburn.

To avoid heartburn, you should first pay attention to your daily diet, avoid eating too fast, and try to eat less or no certain foods, such as tea, coffee, fried foods, candy, chili, strong alcohol, etc. However, even if the food that causes your heartburn is not in the range mentioned above, you should also avoid eating this food.

Secondly, do not lie down or bend over immediately after a meal, and do not start strenuous exercise immediately. A wise choice is to take a brisk walk 30 minutes after a meal, which can help digestion and relieve heartburn symptoms.

Symptom 3: Heartburn

It is caused by excessive secretion of gastric acid or increased sensitivity of the gastric mucosa to acid. This symptom is more common in functional dyspepsia, reflux esophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and chronic gastritis. If you encounter heartburn, you can drink some water or milk, so that the gastric acid in the esophagus can be washed away. If you feel severe heartburn, you need to take medicine.
