Scrotal hernia symptoms in adults

Scrotal hernia is a disease that occurs in men with a high probability. It usually occurs in men in their twenties to forties. It is a common disease. Once it occurs, its symptoms vary greatly in clinical medicine. Men should be aware of the occurrence of scrotal hernia and popularize the symptoms of this disease. So, what are the symptoms of scrotal hernia in adults?

1. Scrotal enlargement

Scrotal hernia is a hernial sac that intrudes into the scrotum, causing the scrotum to swell. A soft mass can be felt in the scrotum. When the patient touches it hard, he or she can feel a soft tissue that can be felt and seen. Generally, there is no obvious pain. This soft tissue is mostly the colon or the greater omentum, but it may also be the sigmoid colon or the bladder. The symptoms of this type of hernia are mostly a large reducible mass in the groin.

2. Pain and soreness from falling

In most cases, when patients with scrotal hernia stand up, a lump will appear or increase in size. When they lie down, the lump will mostly disappear or become smaller. It may be accompanied by discomfort such as pain and soreness. Most people also have abdominal distension, poor appetite, and difficulty in defecation, which are the main manifestations of gastrointestinal discomfort. In rare cases, there may be sudden acute abdominal pain, vomiting, cessation of defecation and other symptoms of intestinal obstruction. If this soft tissue, that is, the foreign body in the scrotum, is a bladder or kidney function, significant urogenital system symptoms may occur, such as frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, urination pain, hematuria, waist pain and other symptoms. If it is colon or sigmoid colon, symptoms of intestinal obstruction may appear, such as intermittent abdominal distension, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, anal obstruction of stool and trachea, etc. After the illness, fatigue, physical fitness and immunity will be reduced. The symptoms are different, and the condition is also different. Patients should go to the hospital for further examination immediately.

The adverse effects of scrotal hernia are very serious. Friends should be alert to the occurrence of this disease. They should pay more attention to observation in daily life and understand the symptoms mentioned above. Once found, they should seek medical treatment in time. During the recovery period, they should maintain a stable living environment, pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene, and arrange their diet scientifically. Avoid all spicy foods.
