For those patients who are suspected of prostate cancer, a prostate biopsy is generally required so that they can be diagnosed in time and seize the best treatment opportunity. 1. Less activity and more rest

Try to get out of bed as little as possible on the day after puncture. It is generally recommended to rest in bed for 24 hours. Vigorous waist activities are strictly prohibited within 3 weeks after puncture.

2. Don’t ignore routine monitoring

Blood pressure, pulse, urine color, skin color, waist and abdominal symptoms and signs should be routinely monitored within 6 hours after puncture.

3. Complications need to be handled correctly

The most common complication after prostate puncture is bleeding. Hemostatic drugs can be given routinely. Preventive use of antibiotics may reduce the occurrence of infection. Generally, fever, chills, urinary tract infection, etc. can be treated symptomatically.

4. Treatment of rectal bleeding

If significant rectal bleeding is found after the puncture, a vaginal tampon of appropriate size can be lubricated and inserted into the rectum and left in place for a few hours.

5. If you have any adverse reactions, seek medical attention immediately

If blood clots appear after puncture, and dizziness, pale face, cold sweats, or persistent high fever and perineal pain occur, the urethra may be seriously damaged and you need to see a doctor immediately.

Normal hematuria after puncture Hematuria may occur after prostate puncture. Generally speaking, if there is some hematuria in the first part of the urine each time you urinate, it is normal, especially the first urine in the morning may be darker in color. The symptoms of hematuria can basically be gradually alleviated within a week.
