Semen without sperm? The reasons you can't imagine!

It is well known that a man's semen contains a lot of sperm. But have you ever heard of a man who has no sperm in his semen? In clinical practice, this situation is very common, so it is called azoospermia. So, what are the causes of azoospermia?

1. Picky eating and partial eating:

The production and development of sperm are inseparable from nutrition, such as arginine provides nitrogen to sperm, vitamin B12 and vitamin C can promote sperm production, protect sperm against the invasion of harmful factors, etc. The variety of food should be expanded to avoid single food and unbalanced nutrition.

2. Smoking and drinking:

Smokers have fewer sperm than normal men, but the number of incomplete sperm is much higher than normal men; alcohol can cause sperm head and tail deformities and reduce vitality, which can cause fetal deformities.

3. The water temperature for bathing is too high:

The temperature suitable for sperm development is about 34℃. High temperature has adverse effects on sperm development. According to a report by Japanese experts, the quality of drivers' sperm has improved significantly since cars were equipped with air conditioners. Therefore, we should be cautious about high-temperature operations, hot water baths, saunas, and driving without air conditioning in summer.

4. Varicose vein varicocele:

This situation will seriously affect the blood supply to the testicles, and thus affect the spermatogenesis of the testicles. The sperm will also decrease significantly or even disappear. Timely surgery or drug treatment (mild cases) is expected to restore the reproductive function of most patients;

5. Hypogonadism:

It can also be seen in clinical practice, but less frequently;

6. Agnosia:

The testicles are the only place where sperm is produced. Without testicles, there is no sperm. Without testicles, there is no therapeutic value.

7. Prolonged contact with electrical appliances:

Long-term contact with electronic products such as household appliances, computers, microwave ovens, etc. can cause people to be exposed to electromagnetic waves and fluorescent radiation, causing male azoospermia or abnormal sperm production, leading to infertility or malformation.
