The rhythmic contraction of the smooth muscles of the epididymis and vas deferens drives the sperm and mixes with the secretions of the prostate and seminal vesicles here. When the semen accumulates to a certain amount and the stimulation of the penis reaches a sufficient intensity, that is, when orgasm occurs, ejaculation occurs. At this time, the membranous urethral sphincter relaxes, the bladder sphincter remains contracted, and the accumulated semen will be ejected from the urethra. Therefore, under normal physiological conditions, there will be no leakage of urine during ejaculation, and no leakage of semen during urination.
