What is the chance that a bladder tumor is benign? Not very optimistic!

From the perspective of histology, bladder tumors mainly refer to two categories, namely, bisexual bladder tumors and malignant bladder tumors. According to statistics from relevant institutions, more than 90% of bladder tumors originate from epithelial tissues, and bladder urothelial tumors are the most common. So, what is the probability of benign bladder tumors?

Higher incidence of bladder tumors

Bladder tumor is the most common tumor in the urinary system. Most of them are transitional cell carcinoma. They are most common on the side and back walls of the bladder, followed by the triangular area and the top, and can occur in multiple centers. Bladder tumors may be accompanied by tumors of the renal pelvis, ureter, and urethra successively or simultaneously. Abroad, the incidence of bladder tumor ranks second only to prostate cancer among male urogenital tumors; it ranks first in China. The incidence rate in men is 3 to 4 times that in women, and most of them are aged between 50 and 70 years old. Epithelial tumors account for 95% of the tissue type of this disease, of which more than 90% are transitional cell carcinoma.

Bladder tumors can be classified into benign and malignant types.

Many people are concerned about the probability of benign bladder tumors. The answer is yes. Tumors can be benign or malignant, and the same is true for bladder tumors. Benign bladder tumors include urothelial hyperplasia and atypical hyperplasia, papilloma, polyp and adenoma, etc. Malignant ones are called bladder cancer.

The chance of benignity is not high

Bladder tumors can be benign, but the chances are not very high. Generally, they are more malignant, so I hope everyone can actively seek treatment to protect the patient’s body from harm. I also hope everyone can view this disease correctly and not give up.
