This overwhelming advertisement seems to tell people: all men in the world should take kidney tonic, "Nine out of ten men have kidney deficiency", "Fatigue is kidney deficiency", "Kidney deficiency should be supplemented", kidney deficiency means poor sexual function, and taking kidney tonic can supplement the kidney and strengthen virility. Therefore, many people follow the trend and buy kidney tonic.

So, does everyone need to nourish the kidneys? Is it necessary to nourish the kidneys when you reach middle age?

Traditional Chinese medicine explains the concept of kidney mainly from the perspective of function, covering the reproductive, urinary, nervous, bone and other tissues and organs of the human body, which play the role of regulating human functions and providing "vitality" and "original power" for life activities. "Deficiency" is mainly the result of low function and nutrient deficiency. Kidney deficiency will show the decline of kidney-related functions, such as memory loss, sexual dysfunction, easy fracture, anemia, urinary retention, sore waist and legs, etc. These are common symptoms in middle-aged people, but we cannot generalize and think that the above symptoms are definitely kidney deficiency.

Kidney deficiency is divided into "kidney yin deficiency" and "kidney yang deficiency". In clinical practice, yin deficiency is more common than yang deficiency. Some people blindly nourish the kidneys, but there are actually many misunderstandings here. There are many people in life who do not need to nourish the kidneys at all. Fatigue and age are not the criteria for defining kidney nourishment. If people who do not need kidney nourishment take kidney nourishing medicine, not only will they not be able to replenish nutrients, but they will also increase the burden of detoxification on the organs; some people think that "people in middle age with poor spleen and stomach should also nourish the kidneys", which is also inappropriate. 1. Regular waist movement can help the waist qi and blood circulate smoothly and continuously replenish the kidney qi. Appropriate exercise can improve physical fitness, activate thinking, strengthen muscles and bones, promote the digestion and absorption of nutrients, and thus consolidate the kidney qi.

2. Sexual life should be moderate, neither forced nor indulgent.

5. Sufficient sleep is also an important guarantee for restoring energy and spirit. No matter how stressful your work is or how many worries you have at home, you must rest on time when it is time to go to bed.

Once you have done this, you don't need to look for kidney-tonifying medicines or health products anymore.
