What's the matter with the fleshy particles on the glans?

The grains on the glans are usually caused by genital herpes, which will bring some discomfort to men. As the disease progresses over a long period of time, it may also aggravate the infection of the genitals. In severe cases, it will affect the male's sexual function and even cause male infertility. For genital herpes, it is best to detect it as early as possible and then get effective treatment in time.

Genital herpes is self-limiting and can heal itself in about 1-2 weeks. The purpose of treatment is to prevent the next recurrence. There is currently no specific medicine for this disease. The principle of treatment is to shorten the course of the disease, prevent secondary infection, and reduce recurrence.

1. Local treatment: The principle is to dry, contract and protect the affected area to prevent secondary infection. You can apply 2% gentian violet solution, or choose 10% bismuth subgallate (dermatol), zinc oxide ointment or mud paste, lithospermum officinale ointment, 0.5% neomycin ointment, or 0.25%~0.1% IDU ointment, 5% IDU dimethyl sulfoxide solution (for skin herpes), etc. For facial areas, 10% aluminum acetate or zinc-copper complex can also be used.

2. Systemic treatment: The treatment principle is to make the infected HSV inactive or even eliminate the virus; the second is to regulate immunity and prevent recurrence. Acyclovir can be used intravenously or orally, Livzonvir can be taken orally, interferon can be injected intramuscularly, and interleukin II can be injected intramuscularly. When we treat recurrent genital herpes, we use 3 million units of interferon produced by the Biotechnology Center of the Fourth Medical University for intramuscular injection, once a day, 10 times as a course of treatment, a total of three courses, and appropriately use interleukin II or Levitra or Probabilin, 95% of patients do not relapse.

Anti-HSV drugs

(I) Acyclic guanosine is a recognized effective drug:

1. Primary and initial infection: ACV 200 mg, 5 times a day, for 7 consecutive days; or ACV 5 mg/kg, intravenous injection according to body weight, once every 8 hours, for 5-7 consecutive days.

2. In case of recurrent infection, ACV 200 mg, 5 times a day, for 5 consecutive days, or ACV 800 mg, 2 times a day, for 5 consecutive days; if treatment is started at the beginning of prodromal symptoms or within 2 days after the occurrence of damage, it may be effective for some patients

It is best for male friends to pay attention to the hygiene of their private parts. This is very important for preventing many men's diseases. Once any abnormality is found in their genitals, they should go to the hospital for examination in time. If it is caused by genital herpes, it can be treated with the above methods.
