Since prostatitis combined with stones is difficult to cure with antibiotics alone, chronic prostate infection and prostate stones are often indications for surgery. Unfortunately, surgical complications (sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence) limit the choice of this surgery. If transurethral prostatectomy can completely remove the infected tissue and stones, prostatitis will be cured, but it is difficult to achieve this effect because there are also a large number of infected lesions in the tissues around the prostate.
