What are the early symptoms of chronic prostatitis?

Many men are troubled by prostatitis. The treatment of prostatitis is quite difficult because the structure of the male prostate is very special and it is difficult for drugs to exert their due efficacy. Therefore, if you want to treat prostatitis, it is necessary to detect prostatitis in time. In fact, there are many symptoms in the early stage of prostatitis, and understanding these symptoms is very important for curing the disease.

The early symptoms of prostatitis include:

1. Frequent urination is an early sign of chronic prostatitis. The most obvious early sign is an increase in the number of nocturia, which gradually increases with the progression of urinary tract obstruction.

2. Difficulty in urination: When the urethra is obstructed, the resistance to urine excretion will increase. Patients with prostatitis must increase abdominal pressure to overcome the resistance to urination, so urination is difficult.

3. Continuous dripping: After urinating, patients with chronic prostatitis still have urine dripping out of the urethra, continuous dripping or lower abdominal discomfort.

4. Thinning of urine flow: Since patients with chronic prostatitis will have weakened urination ability, the urine flow will also become thinner, which has a great impact on the body.

5. There is a feeling of pressure in the perineum and discomfort in the urethra: Because prostate disease causes stimulation of the posterior urethra, urethral discomfort and a feeling of pressure in the perineum often occur.

Treatment:

The treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis is mainly oral antibiotics, and sensitive drugs are selected. The course of treatment is 4 to 6 weeks, during which the patient should be evaluated for the efficacy in stages. If the efficacy is unsatisfactory, other sensitive antibiotics can be used instead. α-receptor blockers can be used to improve urination symptoms and pain. Herbal preparations, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics and M-receptor blockers can also improve related symptoms.

If the patient's prostatitis is caused by bacterial infection, then the patient needs to use antibiotics for treatment, generally for one month. If the long-term situation does not improve, then the treatment method needs to be changed. In addition, the patient needs to pay attention to the hygiene of his prostate and clean it every day.
