Prostatic hyperplasia is a common disease among middle-aged and elderly men, and the incidence is increasing as the world's population ages. The prevalence of prostatic hyperplasia increases with age, but there may not be clinical manifestations when there is hyperplasia. The prevalence in urban areas is higher than in rural areas, and racial differences also affect the level of hyperplasia. It is more common for patients with prostatic hyperplasia to undergo minimally invasive surgery with urethral surgery. Surgical treatment of prostate hyperplasia is very important and a very effective method. However, the purpose of surgical treatment is to restore smooth urination, improve the patient's symptoms, and then achieve the purpose of curing the disease. However, there are also many disadvantages: 1. After surgery, some patients will experience urinary incontinence, and the proportion is relatively high. Generally, urinary incontinence is short-term, occurring after the catheter is removed after surgery, or within a few months after the catheter is removed. The vast majority of urinary incontinence can be repaired; 2. After surgery for prostate hyperplasia, the wounds left by the surgery are usually prone to inflammation, which can be accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and pain during urination. Generally, most inflammations can be controlled through anti-inflammatory treatment; 3. In the case of minimally invasive surgery, the equipment must be placed according to the urethral opening to see the male prostate. Some patients also have a narrow urethral opening. This is because the equipment may cause certain damage to the urethral opening during the entire process of actual operation. Although the male prostate is cured, the urethra will be narrowed after the urethra is damaged, and urination will also be difficult. Surgery is still the key treatment for prostatic hyperplasia, and is suitable for BPH patients with moderate to severe LUTS that have significantly affected their quality of life. Classic surgical methods include transurethral male transurethral prostatectomy, transurethral male prostatectomy, and open male prostatectomy. Indications for surgical treatment are: blood pressure with lower urinary tract obstruction symptoms, urodynamic tests have changed significantly, or residual urine is above 6b250; blood instability and bladder symptoms are more serious; supplementation has caused upper urinary tract obstruction and kidney function damage; multiple weight-loss attacks of urinary retention, urinary tract infection, and gross hematuria; full-term high complicated by bladder stones. The soft tube is used to combine inguinal temples, more serious hemorrhoids or rectal prolapse, and clinical medicine determines that it is difficult to achieve treatment results without eliminating lower urinary tract obstruction. |
